This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. We were a large group, the managers and staff did not communicate at all about where we were supposed to sit, and the service throughout the entire evening was extremely poor.
For starters, the server didn't come around to our table for drink orders, we had to go to the bar to get something! She very rarely came around asking if we wanted any more drinks or appetizers, we had to find her and get her attention for everything.
At dinner, appetizers took almost an hour to come out, main courses took another 45 minutes, and the blame was out on us first because we had ordered appetizers, as if we had never been to a restaurant before! Finally the food came, but two orders were wrong, and my mozzarella and tomato salad had mint instead of basil. When I addressed this with the manager, he said the kitchen was probably so in a rush to get everything out they probably made a mistake. I ended up eating the salad anyways because I was so hungry and no one even bothered to come check if we were ok.
I won't even get started on how much of a hassle it was to get our bills.
The worst part of this is that the restaurant was not even close to being fully packed, as being over Grand Prix weekend, you would figure that they would have prepared/staffed accordingly.
Working in the service industry myself, I understand that the unexpected can happen in the kitchen. However, there are ways to communicate with your customers and make them feel at ease, and managing the situation. This was handled in a very poor way and I, nor anyone from my group, will be...

I was greeted warmley By a front of house server who showed us to our table, upon arrival I was impressed with the decor and the feel of the resteraunt.
My partner and I arrived first and waited for the other 3 to join us, this was at 8pm, we didn't get our drinks taken until 8.30 then they arrived around 8.55 which by that point we had only just had our meal order taken, then the wait for the food was diabolical, it took that long my friend ran to a shop to buy a phone charger and come back and still waited a further 20 mins, it took well over and hour to receive fries that could genuinely chip a tooth, you guys are lucky I'm not sending a dentist bill, tofu noodles that were like cold and rubbery and my vegan friend said her tofu was cooked that badly the texture was vile and my partners burger resembled a hockey puk!
That's not the worse one no, my friend ordered mac and cheese.........we had all received our food and he hadn't, we could wait any longer and tucked in, a server then came over and said I'm sorry I sent your mac and cheese to the wrong table!! Like we have finished eating and he has only just received his mac and bloody cheese, one of the most simple dishes that had been ordered?
I am disgusted I paid $70 for that terrible...
Read moreAs starters, we ordered the Halloumi cheese fries, which were excellent. Served with almonds and Greek honey yogurt, it was the best dish of the evening.
The Venice veggie burgers were decent, but not exceptional, made with soya patty it was a little dry for me. Similarly, the Fettucine with artichokes and FETA cheese were okay, although I have had better pasta dishes elsewhere.
Although I can't remember the exact drink I had, it was most likely a cocktail or a sangria, as it had a generous amount of alcohol in it.
Overall, this restaurant is an excellent choice for those looking to try new dishes. However, it is quite pricey and the portion sizes are on the smaller side. The service was decent, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
There are only a few vegetarian options available, which are not particularly impressive, making it less suitable for vegetarians. The location in Griffin Town is fantastic, and although they have a patio, it was closed due to rain on the day of our visit. The music at the restaurant was low-key, allowing for easy conversation during the meal. I noticed that there were some office gatherings taking place while we were there.
In conclusion, I would recommend giving this restaurant a try, but I would not visit again for the...
