When placing the order i was simply asked what i want and i went for a Matcha Milk tea with White Pearls. When i received my order i was surprised that the amount of sugar was so intense that it felt like i was drinking diabetes. Normally, when you place an order, the employee is supposed to ask how much Ice and Sugar you want, which wasn't done. I tried negotiating with the one who took my order and when she came back after speaking to the manager, their only solution was to pour out the drink and dilute it. Now here's the problem: if we take 30% as our goal for the amount of sugar, that means we have to pour our 70% of the drink, and they weren't going to replace the milk and matcha that was getting lost in the process as well. So of course i refused and prefered to get a new one. I was ready to pay 50% of the price for not remembering to explicitely ask for 30% sugar (despite it being the employee's job) just to make it as fair as possible. The manager refused and had me pay full price for the 2nd drink and didn't want to do anything, and that was despite the employee freakin' admitting that she just assumed that i want 100% sugar since i didn't speak out. These people literally have 1 job. And they not only do a botched version of it, but don't take responsibility at all, wether it's the rock studded on teeth employee, or the small asian lady manager (don't know their name, so just going by description of what i remember). I was honestly unhappy overall, and i left with a bitter feeling of being disrespected with the new drink (that i paid full price for AGAIN).    Read moreI personally liked this place. In rare occasions at other franchises, have the drinks been this accurate in taste. I asked for a drink to be 30% sugar and it tasted perfect compared to other places where they seem to eyeball whatver goes into the drink. I also asked for one of the drinks to be monitered as it was meant for a celiac customer. They answered my request and reassured me. They also gave some bonus cookies which I appreciated. I also do not understand the other reviews as they either pertain to the opening day which is very normal as to disorganization or someone even saying that Chatime is better (blasphemy because Chatime is the worst bubble tea place since the surge in bubble tea shops...
   Read moreNot a great first impression, their grand opening today was very disorganized. The employees didn't know the promos, and the promos aren't clear/advertised correctly. I waited 30 minutes just to be told that the drink I wanted wasn't part of the deal (with no such condition on their website or in stores, and disagreement between the employees), and I wasn't even close to ordering (I was 8th in line when I arrived). I know they have been open for some weeks as a soft opening, so I have to ask what they've been doing up to now.
