Ive had every sandwich at Shnoopi in the past 2 weeks (that I can have). With the exception of the chicken and the meatballs, everything else is Halal.
The Shnoopi Sandwich is incredible and unique— To me, this is a must have sandwich that I’ll be showing to all my out-of-town friends whenever they come visit.
The Roastbeef sandwich is my 2nd favorite— What a balance! The egg at the lowest level is genius.
For vegetarians, I had all their options as well, but The Caprese reigns supreme, so delicious.
I’ve had the sous-vide, the ground beef and cheese, roasted veg, and goat cheese sandwich as well. I didn’t really like the goat cheese sandwich because goat cheese is a bit too powerful for my palette, and I’m not a huge cheesy guy. If you absolutely love incredible amounts of cheese, then you might like it. I’d rather have the Caprese over the roasted veg, and though the ground beef is good, I think I’d rather have a smashburger because it hits within the same region of taste buds.
The sous-vide would be another one that I put above the rest, but if I’m in the mood for some red meat then I’ll probably find myself ordering the Roast Beef more often than the Sous-Vide.
The workers at the establishment are awesome by the way. I haven’t had the pasta of the day or the soup of the day yet, but my friends loved the pasta.
Finally, their rice pudding desert is also amazing.
5 Stars. Among the best in Montreal. I’m telling all my friends about it and putting them on, I really want Shnoopi to succeed and become a MTL staple— I respect the high levels of craftsmanship put into these sandwiches. Very well thought out, and you can tell that the IQ points are from a higher regions while you’re biting into the sandwiches and tasting the combo.
I’ve had them in person twice, and on UberEats twice. Hope to eat there continuously.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at the brand new casual restaurant in Montreal called Shnoopi, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming casual atmosphere.
After a long and tiring day of travel, we were having a hard time finding place was handicap accessible. Not being familiar with the area, we were amazed at how many places had at least one or two steps to get into the restaurants. After over a hour of frustration, trying to find somewhere, we stumbled upon a quaint little eatery, called Shnoopi. None of us has ever tried “Egyptian inspired” food and weren’t quite sure what to expect, but we were delighted with the wonderful flavors and freshness of the food.
The staff at Shnoopi went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They were extremely accommodating, especially when it came to accessibility for my wheelchair. The staff had taken great care to make sure that I was able to move around with ease. The effort they made to accommodate me and my wheelchair truly made a difference and made me feel valued as a customer.
Now, let's talk about the food. Shnoopi offers a menu loaded with Egyptian and Mediterranean-inspired dishes, and let me tell you, it was a culinary delight. The flavors were vibrant, the presentation was impeccable, and the portions were generous. Each bite was a burst of flavors that transported me to the Mediterranean.
Overall, my experience at Shnoopi was nothing short of amazing. The combination of exceptional food, accommodating staff, and wheelchair accessibility made it a standout dining experience. If you're looking for a taste of Egypt and the Mediterranean in Montreal, Shnoopi is the place to be.
I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an informal memorable...
Read moreThis is a long review, but it's worth the read. It’s honestly local, family-owned places like this that made me fall in love with the city of Montreal. This place is literally amazing. This is why Quebec culture needs to be protected, and we should hope for small businesses like this to thrive.
First of all, the sandwiches are of amazing quality. You will find a great selection of tuna, meat, veggie, salads, etc. The tuna with corn is personally my favorite.
Second, the service is just unbelievable. Even though it is a quick-bite sandwich shop, the owner is also involved in many high-end venues, which I also love, and he brings that level of service here. I decided to eat on the patio when I got my sandwiches to go, and the staff came over and offered me free drinks on the house, even though they were so busy handling the line.
Third, in today’s inflationary environment, this place charges very reasonable prices. You will find sandwiches for $15, and they will fill you up.
Overall, I highly recommend this place, and we should all support local businesses like this that sell good...
