Came here for drinks. Our server didn't really understand the menu or didn't ask us any questions on what we were looking for. She was hesitant to open bottles for us even though you obviously have to try things at a wine bar. In the end, all the options she gave us weren't great. In the end I picked some random glass off the menu. My friends gave up and ordered cocktails which were passable (trèfle and dirty martini). This place has a lot of personality-in a good way. Went on a Saturday night with a girlfriend around 9:30 and it was perfect! Didn't have to wait too long and were seated promptly by a kind host, who by surprise could actually serve us. That's what I mean about personality-the wait staff had their own clothes on and the wine menu was divided into sections as thought out by themselves with one section called "punk." Very cool and trendy bar in the neighborhood. Tried to go on a Thursday night after work and the place was so crowded that people were drinking their glasses standing in the entrance which is quite ridiculous considering there is no waiting area. However, I returned on a Sunday afternoon and it was more quiet. We sat at the bar and ordered a bottle of orange wine as per the bartender’s suggestion.
