COBS Bread — Restaurant in Nanaimo

I love everything about Cobs. The bread is always amazing, delicious and fresh!! They have an incredible selection of bakery items that are all BEYOND delicious and soft and FRESH. They carry too many things to name but some of my families favorites include...cinnamon loaf thick sliced ( you get to pick thin or thick slices for your loafs) the raspberry white chocolate scones, French baguette, grain bread, pizza shells, sour dough and on and on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cobs...the smell from the parking lot gives it away and always happy personable and friendly staff. I love that they usually have samples while you wait, a stamp card to earn a free loaf, coloring pages for the kids to color and they hang on their walls for them and the kids love it. It is a popular place and usually busy but the staff are very fast and lines...

COBS Bread is our go-to bakery! We’ve been buying from them for over 3 years now and honestly, everything is always super fresh and tasty. Their mini pizzas, tarts, buns, and croissants are all packed with flavor — perfect for a quick snack or lunch treat.

We’ve tried a bunch of their breads, and some of our top picks are the fibre loaf, sourdough, multigrain, and Turkish bread. The focaccia is also amazing — soft, herby, and great with soups or on its own.

I had the nicest experience at this Cobs! Placed an online pickup order, but there was a technical mix up, so they were one item short from completing my order. However, they did a fantastic job of making it right, and then some. Anna helped me find a substitute item, and was absolutely wonderful and gave me great customer service. I didn't even realize 'til I got home that the y put a box of extra goodies in my bag to make up for the order mixup. That was a very unexpected and lovely surprise!
