UPDATE! Gino's is no longer run by the italian guy Gino. And when it left the hand of the Italian guy, everything went down hill (no, i am not Italian at all) and the pizza is now overcooked and the amount of cheese and toppings is less, and they greet you as if they dont give a damn if youre there or not, but, as i was waiting, when other east indians came in, they were greeted warmly. No, i am not prejudiced, go check mybrefiews about the amazing people ive reviewed in my review of Indian restaurants. This place as a whole just does not live up to the high standards the original Gino's had.
Original post: We've lived in the Niagara region 4 years now as of 2022. Besides the "standard" big chain restaurants all built to taste consistant, i hadn't found that "local authentic yum factor" pizza place where they have that nice stringy pully mozzarella, (and when you order double cheese, damn do you get a lot of ooey gooey cheese!), give you enough toppings that you tastevthem, as well as that pride of ownership friendliness you get at a locally owned business. There are many i could have come on and rated ok or average, but I'm not one to try to ruin a business's rep, BUT... people... for reals... not even kidding... try Gino's Niagara Falls, Lundy's Lane by Dorchester. Toppings almost to the edge, no scrimping, mega delicious and A1 service. I seriously can't even describe how good it is. You need to try it. Large 5 topping with a dipping sauce, only 17 bucks, and with that you TASTE that homemade small business pride baked right in. Tell Mike, the owner, what you think when you lift the lid and peek inside! He's a great guy and loves to hearvwhat people think. Cheers, call them and Bon Appétit! I know this AND his name because I called their customer service line and raved about them, and they put me through so I could tell them myself. ;) Not everyone dallls just to comlain, great service needs a kudos just to let them know they are indeed on the right track to awesomeness and...
Read moreI have been going to ginos since I was 14 going to Stamford high school, but I ordered 2 slices for lunch ,one for me and my husband and let me tell you my instinct when I walked in was to turn around and leave and I should have listened to my gut. It is so expensive for a slice it used to he 2.50 for a slice and 3.00 for a slice and pop. I get it inflation. But 5 bucks for the smallest slices I've ever seen and I don't eat alot and I thought that was small, crazy. Not to mention watching them clean the counter after making another pizza. It was extremely un sanitary due to allergies. I managed a pizza company and I would have gotten fired for the way they cleaned that counter. I'm sorry to say but when I walked in the smell alone was terrible. And now my husband and I have food poisoning. This has been since this afternoon. Obviously and unfortunately we will never order anything from this place again. It's dissapointing. I should have trusted my gut.i miss the original owner, it was amazing pizza and I...
Read moreThis pizza was AMAZING! I order all the time from here! When I want a quick dinner or if i'm hosting a big party Gino's is always the place I call. Their pizza crust is made in store and is always fresh, airy and crunchy on the bottom. I've tried many places in Niagara Falls and I always find that other pizza places have really doughy and soggy crust. Also their staff is the most interactive and outgoing staff i've met. Going in to this establishment is always a fun time. Their staff seem to be really friendly and they always interact with their customers! I've heard many times they greet their customers by name. That's how I rate quality, when you can tell that they aren't just a place that tourists visit once. It's a place that people clearly revisit often due to their service and product. Their pizza and wings specials are my favourite! That way everyones happy, the pizza lovers and the wing lovers! Their Garlic and Cheddar dips are my fave!
Overall, its a great...
