The Fry (Korean Fried Chicken) — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

Unfortunately didn't get to try. Was staying in niagara falls, and google says that they close at 11pm. Instead of ordering food via Uber eats we wanted the in person experience, but when we arrived at 10pm by uber, we were unwelcomed and was told that they actually close at 10:30pm and that we can order to go or go to another location in st.catherines. when we mentioned the google timing and that we ubered, she said okay we can sit if we order right away but with negative energy and we were told we cannot go into the dinning room but rather eat at the front tables by the door where ppl wait for their to go orders. We had our order in mind, but she let us sit there for 5 minutes even though she said order right away. She passed over food to the couple waiting for their to go food and didn't acknowledge us and wouldn't look at us, and felt the attitude. At that point we said forget it. I hate feeling like a burden or unwelcomed. Their hours say 11pm, therefore they should close at 11pm or at least have a sign or notice that dining room closes earlier if that is the case and not make us feel like we did something wrong. Waste of an uber and time when we could've stayed in the casino area. No customer should ever feel like they did something wrong when we planned accordingly to...

This super small little place is amazing. Girlfriend was hungry and there’s a KFC/ Taco Bell across the street. I was looking there but she said let’s try this one. And she pointed to the Fry.

I was like ok let’s give it a shot. Mariam greeted us and got us to our table. My girlfriend was super happy with the digital ordering display. It was easy to use even for a guy like me lol.

We ordered the calamari, fried dumplings, chicken gizzards, and boneless fried galbi chicken.

The calamari was I think the best I ever had. Fried absolutely to perfection. Finally a place that doesn’t have rubber for cooked squid too. It was so tender.

Fried dumplings were just fantastic. Light crisp to the outside. The filling was hardy and great mix of veggies and chicken.

It was the first time in my life to eat chicken gizzards. And I have to say. I actually liked it. Can’t compare it to anything past time as this was my first time to have it. Very chewy.

The boneless galbi fried chicken was so crispy and juicy I had way more than I should have. It was sweet and tangy with a hint of heat. Came with a cool and light slaw on the side for two.

Order a Soju green grape and share it together. It was a really amazing dining experience.

Will definitely be coming back...

We waited very long for each dish, called for staff at least 3 times on the tablet on the table and they didn't respond, until we had to go over to the counter to request the drinks we ordered. When we realized Tables that came in after us got served before us we had to go up to the counter to ask about it. Even we were finally served, we ordered half and half chicken and told the server it tasted the exact same way and looked the exact same, she gave an attitude and insisted it was different. I have been to many Korean restaurants and if I tell you the dish tastes the exact same and you didn't get our order correctly, don't show attitude, just try to correct it. We only ate one piece from each of the two dishes and left everything. Didn't even get the rice we ordered. Honestly felt discriminated against, because the whites and Asians got met with quick service and better attitudes. They took the full $83 even though we didn't receive what we ordered. And didn't even try to save the situation. Had she even said, "no problem, would you like me to add some more spice to it?" That would have been fine..
