we were travelling today, from 3 different city of Ontario, we met all together in Niagara Fall Ontario, we decide about 3: pm to go to a restaurant locate in 6175 Dunn St, Niagara Falls call Pho Xyclo, when we got there, I told the waitress we were 3 family 3 different bill, she said we can seat and she can do it, she got a paper and a pen and we write the order, was my first time in the place, we were 3 family, one family have 2 adult and one children 4 years old, second family have 2 children one 4 years old and the other 9 years old, and my family have my son my husband , myself and one guess of 10 years old, but we were 3 family, at the end I ask for my bill, she brought me one bill and when I said have to be divide and why she is charging me $35.00 dollar in tip and need to be divide it, she said she will call the manager, the manager came and said because we seat together in one bill ,he were not able to listen completely and she said because is more than 5 people as it said in the menu we have to pay 16% in tip, and I said have to be divide and said is one big table one bill, and I said that is not what I told and what the waitress said and he didn't care, he refuse to listen and I was force to pay all the meal for every one include the tip and was $245.65 what the other family consume I don't know because the manager did not give a receipt for the order we all did, he only care about the money we have to pay, I will publish this in all social media, not to believe what a waitress said in the restaurant if you go with a group of friend and want to pay in different bill, not to believe at all, they are a thief because they force you to pay in one bill to take 16% of tip by force and refuse to give a receipt to know what you pay, they only show a copy of the order but when you are paying taking away
the food was good, not complaint about the food but they are thief and every one have to be carefully with this place, no to believe , now I end with a big bill , what the other have to pay not idea, the worse part is I only order 2 soup, one plate 201 cost 11 dollar, and one plate number 06 cost 6 dollar and 1 mango salad plate , that was all my order and with me was only my husband and my son and a child guess of 10 years old, and I ending paying $245.65 dollar because the manager want a $ 35.00 dollar tip and not able to divide the bill as we request when we come in to the restaurant
because he were not able to listen and because the way he is stealing money to customer I will publish this in every social media , every one have to be carefully with this place and not to believe to the waitress
I was the first one to go in and I am the one who told the waitress to divide the bill and I end very upset because I was force to pay for every one , this is to be thief
photo of the table we were setting add as you can see the table are too small and is full of stuff and when I ask to remove some of the stuff the waitress was kind rude, she didn't like to be ask to remove it from the table but I did because my husband was eating putting the plate in the air, the table was to small and on top charge me a 16% of tip , I don't know how he is a manager and not able to have a solution and not able to listen customer in step force a customer to pay...

This was hands down the worst restaurant experience I have ever had, and I feel obligated to warn others not to make the mistake of going here. The service was appalling, the treatment from the owner was abusive, and to top it off, the food itself may not even be safe.
The first red flag was the way they handle tipping. They automatically add a 15 percent gratuity to every single bill. This is not explained properly by staff and is only written in tiny print at the very front of the menu where most customers will not notice it. Tips are meant to be a customer’s choice, not something forced onto you. It felt deceptive, manipulative, and downright unethical.
We were a group of seven people. Everyone in the group was automatically charged the forced tip, and it was only when my husband and I went last to pay that we noticed what was happening. At that point, we decided to do a custom tip. The only reason they allowed it was because they had forgotten to serve us the jasmine rice that came with our order. That shows you exactly how little integrity they operate with. When I later went back to ask for a proper receipt, instead of giving me one, they literally started scribbling numbers on paper. Completely unprofessional and suspicious.
After we paid and left, me and one of my friends felt so disgusted that we went back inside to confront the owners about the way they were treating customers. That is when things got truly outrageous. The owner, the man with glasses, pointed his fingers aggressively at us, raised his voice, and screamed that he has been open for “13 plus years,” as if that somehow justified his appalling behavior. He also told us to move because “other people are coming,” essentially throwing us out of the restaurant like we were garbage. I WILL BET ANYTHING THAT HORRENDOUS PEOPLE LIKE THIS DO NOT PASS THOSE FORCED TIPS ON TO THEIR SERVERS. It was clear from his attitude that he has no respect for staff, no respect for customers, and no respect for basic decency.
And as if that was not enough, my husband, who had the chicken pho, ended up with a stomach ache shortly afterward. Thankfully, I had chosen the vegan option, or I might have been sick as well. It makes me seriously question the quality and safety of the food being served here.
The food business should be ethical at the very least. When you are serving food to people, there should be respect, honesty, and gratitude. This restaurant showed none of that. Instead, they showed greed, rudeness, and hostility. This place is not just bad, it is horrendous. I strongly urge everyone to stay away. Do not waste your mood, money, your time, or your...
Read moreEAT HERE!! EAT HERE!!! EAT HERE NOW!!!! What a gem! We are so happy we randomly decided to eat here and we were NOT disappointed. We are from out of town and needed really good pho to keep us warm since it was a rainy/snowy and cold day.
Here are a few things we really liked:
serving portions are HUGE and really good price.
the broth itself was amazing. Almost didn't need any hoisin or soya sauce. I also loved that the pho noodles were the skinnier kind and there was a lot!
came here with my husband and three girls (one is a toddler) and I really LOVED that they gave me a pair of small scissors to help cut up the noodles without asking. I normally have to ask for one at other establishments and they're the big scissors, which if you have ever been around a toddler, they touch EVERYTHING. But this little touch goes a long way and I really LOVED and appreciated this.
because they're off the main drag but not hard to find, there's ample of FREE parking around which is a bonus!
clean, tidy and nice bright atmosphere
The staff, now let's talk about this team. They were friendly and helpful and speedy but what really impressed me is the fact that they ran out after me in the parking lot to tell me that I had overpaid due to some ordering mix up on their end. They added an extra dish to my bill by mistake and I wouldn't have known otherwise had they not tell me. There was almost a $15 difference and that is huge for us. Thank you so much for your honesty and I hope that karma brings your business and your staff good luck. Kindness and honesty still exists people.
This truly hit the spot for us. We were so full and even have leftover and we NEVER have leftovers when we normally go for pho. To those reading this review, you will not be disappointed and your bellies will be so full, you'll need to be rolled out. Lol. We will for sure stop by again when we come...
