I booked to stay here for Father’s Day weekend. I did my research online and found this spot was one of the most preferred rates in the area.
Easy to find, great location close to many amenities and attractions. Tim Hortons is just a couple minutes walk around the corner. The Fallsview Casino Resort is also just a few minutes walk away. Many spots for food/drink open til 2am or even 24hrs. Great restaurants and shops not too far away walking or driving. If you’re looking to spend time at the Clifton Hill entertainment area, it’s also just a short 10-12 mins walk, as well as the actual falls.
Service was great. I have no complaints about my booking process or assistance at the motel. Both of the young men who worked at the main office were very friendly, informative and helpful. We had a small request/change with our initial room, but it was quickly resolved before we even brought our luggage up. We received 2 sets of towels in our room, and it was simple and quick to ask for more when we needed.
The bed appeared to be clean and well maintained. Even after we ripped all the sheets off to inspect (which we do at every place we sleep away…) we didn’t find anything dirty or unpleasant. Yes — there were a couple of very faded stains on blankets/sheets, however we didn’t feel disturbed by that, as everything smelled and looked very bleached clean.
The fridge and microwave were clean and both worked very well. Fridge was perfect for storing our drinks.
Some suggestions: Add some other toiletries to the complimentary products you already provide. Maybe q-tips, flossers, make up remover wipes… etc. Try to increase security, especially after 9pm. There were a few sketchy looking visitors later at night. No trouble, but clearly some individuals who appeared to be conducting business or having very rowdy gatherings in certain units.
We really appreciated this motel, and we will definitely be staying here again. It seems like it has improved a lot with the rebranding. Hoping the property managers/owners will continue to maintain this location and implement more updates.

Read moreMy dad asked for early check-in when he booked online and got no response from the workers there. When we arrived, they argued mentioning that my dad didn't email them asking for early check-in. My dad being a bit old-school actually printed out the whole page when he booked the room and under notes/comments or whatever he asked if it was possible to get an early check-in. They still were denying it even if the printout literally has the question on there... Anyway we eventually got a room.
We get inside the room and notice an odd smell to the room. Also, my parents noticed the carpet was obviously not vacuumed but luckily since we were there in the morning (around 10:30 AM), the ladies were cleaning the rooms and was carrying around a vacuum with them and cleaned it up for us. The two ladies quickly responded, apologized, blamed the "previous cleaners who probably thought it was clean and had to leave earlier due to a family emergency", and one cleaned it up and gave us more towels for the family since the room was only equipped with enough towels for two (even though it was a 2 queen bed room). It's funny though, the other lady told the one cleaning to do it because she didn't have her glasses and can't see anything. How the heck is she supposed to clean the other rooms then?! Also, the vacuum was probably just for show.
Anyway, you get what you pay for. Pros: AC was awesomely freezing (it's currently August), Plasma TV was the most modern thing in there and we were able to watch some of the Olympics no problem, the cleaning ladies were nice to us, the area was quiet, walking distance to the falls but also a block from a WEGO Red Line bus stop Cons: Wi-Fi SUCKED (couldn't even load a YouTube page), room had a slight smell, floor so dirty that you shouldn't walk around...
Read moreWhen we got there, the receptionist was not even putting a smile on, which she should have, but we let it slide. The rooms are pretty nice, beds are comfortable, but we never even got our room service, we had to make our beds and organize everything ourselves because no one came. There was a TV, but the remote was missing, and we called to get it, and they told us that if we needed it, we had to get it ourselves, which I find absurd, because we are paying for a service and are not getting any advantage out of it. Also, the sink was clogged, and we couldn’t even wash our hands a lot because it would’ve been a total mess to add more water to the clogged sink (the last day of our stay we couldn’t use the sink at all because it was so clogged). There was also a fridge which was good only if u wanted something not to go bad outside the fridge, because it wasn’t as good as a normal fridge, I put some sodas in, and they barely even got cold, they also had a microwave which we did not use. They charge extra 15$ for parking too. I was sitting outside of the room to take some fresh air, and I saw a giant rat, which made me wonder if the place is even hygienic. Breakfast is not even that good, just took some waffles and yogurt, since there were limited options. I would probably not come back, since the only good thing about it is the location, but there are many better options for same, or even...
