THIS PLACE HAS COCKROACHES. The woman at the desk was extremely rude upon first arrival. You have to PAY FOR PARKING. My friend and I both brought our bfs here for a weekend getaway (one night). We got the suites with hot tubs. We weren't expecting anything incredible as the rooms were $137. We just wanted clean rooms. We first went in my room to inspect before bringing in our stuff. There was hair and stains all over the bed sheets, the sink in the bathroom had a crack in it, the bathroom tub and the hot tub were both gross, on of the lights in the room didn't work. We pulled the dresser off the wall, and it was so SO gross, like they hadn't cleaned behind it in ages. But at this point, we didn't see bugs. So, we went and checked out my friends room, right beside mine. First off, her hot tub was twice the size of mine, and we paid THE SAME PRICE. The bed sheets in that room were even more disgusting, with a few blood stains and dog paw stains. Again, hair and dust everywhere. There was a yellow puddle behind her dresser. Lord knows what that was. We cleaned up the rooms, lysoled surfaces, and cleaned the tubs and toilets. We decided to stay because, hey, at least there were no bugs, or so we thought. We went out and came back around 2AM. I was just falling asleep when my friend called. She'd found a COCKROACH by her hot tub. It was now 3AM, and we debated sleeping in her car. But none the less, we slept in the room, having literally no choice at 3am. I was itching just thinking about the roaches. And on top of that, the bed was super sunken in and really uncomfortable. In the morning, we cleaned up and shook out all of our stuff. We told the woman at the desk, and it seemed like she didn't care. When we got home, we all showered and deep cleaned everything we had with us. I ain't risking bringing home roaches. Long story short, DO NOT BOOK HERE. COCKROACHES WILL BE YOUR ROOMATES because where there's one, there's more.🪳 🪳 🪳 🪳 The first 2 photos are the hot tubs. The large round one was in my friends room and the smaller one was in mine. Again, we paid the SAME PRICE.

Despite the very kind gentelman at the front desk, this motel has to be the biggest dump I've stayed in since the 1980s. The photos for the "Ritz Inn Niagara & Wedding Chapel" totally overstated the locale and our particular room, which itself was a fire hazard waiting for ignition. Electrical outlets running through the heater ducting, really? Cords running across the room and minimally covered by a throw rug? Sink faucets that lifted off the ceramic when one moved the handle? Wi-fi that could only load a page at certain hours of the day? Never, ever, again! The rugs were shabby. I kept my shoes by the bed so I wouldn't have to walk on the floor. I skipped the shower. I brought my own coffee but decided against using their coffee maker when I saw all the state of the funnel. The front desk guy was very nice, trying to get the wi-fi to work, pulling out the refrigerator to plug in the heater so it would work, saying he would ask the owner for a refund. I waited to see if he would rebate us at least part of our two-night, prepaid amount. Now that I see he didn't refund a penny, I'm livid. No, actually, just disappointed in people. We were in Niagara for our 35th wedding anniversary. The "Honeymoon Suite" and "Wedding Chapel" verbage, along with the misleading photos, conned me. But as soon as we arrived after an all day drive, I knew we couldn't stay. The very next morning we got a wonderful room at the Marriott overlooking the falls with true hospitality professionalism. Our celebration was saved, to no help from this dump or its proprietor. Avoid at all costs; it's not worth the cheap price. "You get what you pay for" totally overstates this accommodation. We got far less. Jim -- USA west coast Photos: the "closet" on the way to the bathroom, the "fireplace," the kitchenette, the whole room, the heating vent outlet, the floor extension cord, the surge suppressor extension, the A/C, the plumbing, the welcoming front door, the neighbor's pool, the front office. Have a nice stay, or not.

"You get what you pay for" came to mind when I saw this place, but honestly, that's fair either. When we booked, we were bamboozled by beautiful photos of the facility and rooms that are nowhere near the truth. It honestly should be legal to charge money for a place like this. Firstly you have to pay extra to park which is simply a slap in the face. The stairs to the second floor were so rusty that I was wondering when (not if) they would fall apart. The walkway upstairs is covered by random, blackened, moldy, slimy rugs, which had me really worried about what the room would be like. Everything smelled of decay and stale cigarettes. The room looked surprisingly better than the outside. But on closer inspection, I realized it was a matter of "nice from afar, but far from nice." The furniture was old, peeling and cheap, the dresser was blackened where it met the floor, and there were long strands of black hair under the clean looking covers. The room did have an AC, but I opted not to run it when I saw how much mold was growing in it, and the filter probably hasn't been cleaned since COVID. The bathroom was clean, thankfully. The faucets leaked, but I guess that's their problem, not mine. The only redeeming feature is the fact that it's walking distance from the falls. The staff was friendly. Steer clear, sleep in your car rather than staying here. This place gives dingy motels a bad name.

If you don't smoke and you value your money, please don't stay at this hotel, or you'll be very disappointed and frustrated just the way my husband and I did. We drove over 13 hours from the United States to stay at this facility in a supposedly "non-smoking" room. Unfortunately, for us, there is not such a thing at this hotel, they don't have non-smoking rooms; that's a huge lie and another important thing to keep in mind, they have not cancellation policy either so you get stuck in their horrible, overpriced and stinky rooms if you don't want to lose your money. It's aggravating such a long drive having to put up with this and just feel deceived and ripped off. There was a cigarette hole in one of the sheets that was covering the bed, and also outside of every room they have a full ashtray, so evidently, they do smoke in those rooms. I was so disappointed and frustrated to find this out after all that driving, I just wanted to cancel the reservation right away and go somewhere else, unfortunately, they have a no cancelation policy that I wasn't aware of, so my husband and I had to suck it up and stay three long and painful nights (which is very unfair) without getting any sleep or rest because I couldn't even breath; between the smell of cigarettes and the smell of a very cheap glade scented oil I felt like I was being tortured. The worst part is that we paid in advance what I consider a HIGHLY OVERPRICED room because we wanted to make sure our reservation was guarated. I was so sad that we didn't get to totally enjoy our dreamed vacation because of this situation. We were so tired for our lack of sleep that on our way back home we could barely keep our eyes opened behind the wheel. We had to stop many times for coffee and splash cold water in our faces. It took us over 16 hours to drive back home. Today, all my clothes, my hair and every single thing I brought back from that room smells like cigarettes, my nose and my throat are irritated from those horrible smells from cigarettes and the cheap scented oils they used to try to cover it up. I hope this review can prevent many people from going through horrible experiences like this that could totally ruin your so well...
