Beware!! This place has signs of Filth the moment you walk into the lobby, Couches that they had covered in barn blankets in the lobby. We’re not even fit enough for my dog to sit on let alone a human being. If I could post a video, I would., They look like they’ve been taken in from the side of the road full of scratches and holes, we had asked to see the room because of the look of the lobby and they would not let us so we had decided we wanted to a refund. They told us to contact Expedia.CA and we did and they were no help. We refuse to stay in the rooms, they would not give us our money back $300 waisted! They are very rude when we asked to view the room and insisted on not showing us., until I walked back in recording then he showed the room it smelled like mould!! The rugs were stained the beds Were horribly made looks like a five-year-old made them up had no blankets on up just sheets alone , This place is a pigsty!!

If you're reading this, you're likely looking for budget accommodations in Niagara Falls. This is not a luxury hotel, so dont expect that. Rooms are dated and building is run down. Has a bit of a 'creepy motel vibe', and many of the outdoor lights aren't working. Beds were hard, but comfortable. You probably have better pillows at home. Staff were nice and my room was clean and comfortable. Location is good with a short walk to everything. When I booked, the price was about 1/4 that of the nearby luxury hotels. Parking was easy to access, but costs extra (a big downside but typical for the area). So on to the big questions. Is it clean? Yes. Will I feel safe staying here? Maybe not. Will I lose all the money I save by staying here in the casino? Absolutely.

Don’t waste your hard earned money. I will give it 5 stars for the location but if there is anything below 0 for the rest of the stuff I wouldn’t hesitate to give it. This hotel is not clean at all. Rooms are smelly and insects crawling on the bed and window sills… the rooms don’t look like the pictures on their website. We stayed for two nights, if we had time to switch to another hotel, we would have definitely done that. When we pointed this out to the people at the reception during checkout, they didn’t care, they said we’ll let house keeping know. Rooms weren’t clean at all plus the sofa bed and carpets are so dirty and smelly! We paid $420 for two nights, I was expecting the rooms to be at least clean. See the pictures.

As someone who rarely complains and is unsatisfied with a Choice Hotel stay, I contemplated leaving this survey but decided to give it a try as in my opinion the establishment isn't representing the Brand as it should. Upon arrival, we noticed the outside and lobby were poorly kept and needing many repairs/updating. There was 3 groups waiting to check in and only one attendant who handled it all very well. Once we were checking in we were informed the room key systems were not working at the moment and we would need to be let in our room by staff with a master key. On the way to the room noticed how dirty the hallway was and although our room was cleaner than everywhere else, it was very dated, wallpaper coming off walls, walls were dirty, bathroom very poorly lit therefore couldn't close the door while in use. None of the pictures on the website reflected what we saw in person. The pictures must have been taken in the prime of the hotel..maybe when it opened? After a couple hours out, we stopped by the front desk to see if we can get our room keys programmed and was advise it still wasn't working so he would need to let us in with master key..I told him the room number and that was it! NO verification of a name or showing ID to confirmed we were the ones registered to the room before being let in. Following morning we went out, taking most of our belongings since the system for keys was still not working. Returned after lunch to discover pool was also not functioning and system for keys still not working. We were let in by staff again with a master key and again NO verification whatsoever to ensure we are registered to the room..this time half of us decided to not leave the room therefore stayed in the room with deadbolts in place just so we wouldn't need to load everything in and out of the room. NOT how we wanted to spend our 2 nights in Niagara Falls on the hottest days (2 nights June 20-21/2025) When the other half returned after a few hours, went back to front desk to ask about the keys and this was the time we were informed it wouldn't get fixed until Wed at the earliest and we were only Saturday night and checking out in the morning. I informed the front desk clerk that was a huge inconvenience, unprofessional and a safety concern...he just shrugged and apologized. Left by 9am on checkout day (Sunday) and won't go back there. Unfortunately manager was not available as I would have asked for a huge discount (even with my discounted rate-NOT worth what we paid) for how unsafe we felt, lack of verification to put it mildly cause anyone could have said any room number and be let in that room with no questions asked. I travel very often and stay in many/mostly Choice hotels and this was the most unsafe, dated, dirty and in of repairs I have ever stayed at. This was very disappointing and surprised Choice Hotel Name/Brand is associated with the hotel. Could we have moved to another hotel? Most likely ..but after a long travel to get there and only being there for 2 nights it would have been an inconvenience and a huge price to pay as we would have had to pay for the 1st night due to past cancellation time and the cost of last minute/no time to search for a deal at another location. SO we unfortunately had to stay but will never go back there. Do I expect a response from this survey..No but as a long time valued Choice Hotel member I would love one along with some reimbursement or even a Choice hotel gift card to use for a future stay at another location would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from someone in the very near future. Thank...

We booked this hotel based on the reviews. We figured there were a bunch of negative reviews and a few really positive ones. We’re reasonable people, we figured the place would be fine and we would be happy without stay. Sadly the negative reviews were the correct ones, the positive ones were fakes.

When we arrived front desk staff had already ran our credit card prior our arrival for the full amount plus an 200$ deposit, and we could not put it on a different card. They tried to run the second room before our arrival but the card declined, so that one we could chose our card to use.

We booked the king room with jacuzzi tub for 4 nights. The jacuzzi looked nice and new, but when I went to use it the jets didn’t work. I complained to the front desk they assured me maintenance would fix it. Each day I asked about the tub, they told me it was on the list to be repaired. It was never repaired. Our thoughts were that it was not wired up to hydro so it effectively saved the hotel money because it would never work. There was no reason given as to why it was not operable. Next issue, room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, I had front staff come check it out, they told me not to worry, I would not be charged a cleaning fee and they gave me a spray bottle of air freshener to use to help with the stink. Next problem, they advertised a pool, this was the long weekend in August, the pool was closed it was not mentioned on the booking site to make us aware..,,, it was closed all 4 days… the pool was clean but gate was locked. Strangely enough we were told the pool was now open as we were checking out. My thoughts are this is a game they play, pool is closed till you check out.. saves them money., don’t need to care for the pool. Next item, cleaning staff, there is one elderly woman who does the cleaning in the main building, no one’s rooms were cleaned. She carried up a play pen to the 3rd floor for my sons baby, they booked their room because I had booked, I felt terrible, their room had non existent A/C and no fridge for the baby formula, they used our fridge. Our other friend who also booked same time his room was as so cold he had to lay towels on it to keep it from blowing cold air, none of the rooms we had been in had no controls for the A/C. The hallways were stiflingly hot, no A/C there at all.

Our thoughts are this place is under different ownership and the new owners are not interested in putting the customer first, they are interested in making money. Sadly misrepresenting the hotel is unfair to customers because we rely on what the reviews say to make our choices, we will not be coming back for...

My wife and I came to Niagara Falls to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. After pricing almost every hotel in the area, I chose this one based on the reviews and because I had enough Choice points for two of my three nights to be free. Let me start by saying that if you want a luxury hotel experience, look elsewhere. This ain't it. Also, don't be fooled by the name. It does not have a view of the falls. It is in the Fallsview area. Some seem to get this confused.(the hotel does list this on their website#. BUT, if you want a clean, comfortable place at a reasonable price that is close to the falls, then this is your place to stay. Check in was smooth. I had to wait in line behind some VERY rude people and the desk clerk remained courteous and professional to them #I probably would not have#. When it came my turn, she was very helpful and gave me lots of information about attractions, breakfast, the bus stop, best route to walk to the falls, etc. I appreciated this alot. We were given a room in the front section on the 3rd floor. Let me side track here to mention that there is NO ELEVATOR in the hotel. My wife and I got plenty of excersize huffing it up and down 3 floors #oh well, we needed the exercise#. The room was a little stale because the air had not been on but that went away in a while. Yes the TV was a bit dated, and there weren't very many channels, but hey, we didn't fly all the way from the Gulf Coast to watch TV!! I was disappointed with the shower as there was absolutely NO pressure to the shower head. There was plenty from the tub, so I guess the heads were those conserving kind #very conserving#. Two sinks #one in the bathroom and one outside#, No fridge or microwave. We slept very well in the comfortable bed. We enjoyed breakfast in the hotel each morning #very reasonable- almost everything less than $5 which was appreciated). We ate at Zappi's located in the parking lot a few times. It was very good and also reasonably priced. I'll end by saying again that this is not a luxury place, but doesn't claim to be. It is a very comfortable, reasonably priced, clean place to stay and enjoy a visit to this wonder of nature that is...
