Little Tokyo Sushi in North Vancouver is a hidden gem that offers a delightful fastfood experience. The restaurant has a small, cozy space that feels welcoming and unpretentious. While it may not be the fanciest place in town, what Little Tokyo Sushi lacks in decor, it more than makes up for with its delicious rolls. The sushi rolls are fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, making each bite a satisfying experience. The menu offers a good variety of options, catering to both traditional sushi lovers and those looking for something a bit more creative. The friendly and attentive staff add to the pleasant atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Overall, if you're looking for great sushi in a relaxed setting, Little Tokyo Sushi is definitely worth a visit. It's a perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a quick bite of some truly delicious rolls before taking the sea bus.

Walked around to get change, refill my Compass card and leave.. this place caught my eye and the music was very calm, staff very welcoming. I’m eating good sushi made by hood people by the water. It’s raining, but I don’t care. I ordered a Cooked Beef Teriyaki roll to stay, and then a Kimchi Tofu Udon because it’s raining. This is the place you walk in and order anything and it’ll be good. They’re budget friendly too, they’ve got things like Shin ramen among others for $6 and for $10, you get a bonus California roll. Sit down facing the window and enjoy the Jazz music and people walking by. Don’t eat in a rush and don’t forget to tip! Enjoy your meal.

Very good price with a great portion! Cannot believe I just got 8 big pieces of fresh salmon with a cheap price ($11 ish?) from this place and really enjoyed it. While the store is small but the food is definitely worth the experience!! Update: Visited this place again after a year. Prices increased as expected. ($17 for 8 pieces of salmon sashimi now). And the food is still yummy like last time.

Caution to those ordering - if the food is off, they will treat you like it's your fault!

I work in the building across from Little Tokyo and just had the worst take out experience! I ordered Spicy Tuna roll, brought it back to work to eat it. Unfortunately, I had to bring back because it was too fishy (I eat lots of sushi and this was off). When I took it back, the lady at the cash opened my sushi and put one in her mouth...and then TOOK ANOTHER ONE and put it in her mouth (while looking straight at me) and said "it's fine". It was rude and aggressive. It's really too bad - you could have just taking it back and not lost a customer...
