Rex Bakery — Restaurant in North Vancouver

Probably one of the west customer service I have ever seen. It was my sisters 30th birthday party and this basket was recommended by a friend of mine for custom cake. . I ordered birthday cake and was told to come pick it up the next day at 4 pm. When I went to pick it up, they said that it’s not ready and come back at 5 pm. (Even though my recipe said pick up at 4 pm). When I went back at 5 pm, the front girl said that the baker got into a car accident and could not finish you cake ….. like whatttttttt !!!!! The girl in front looks at me like as I have to problem solve this situation. I had way tooo many questions to ask about this situation but I already wasted 3 hours of my life going to this place and , waiting around for a cake. No apologies, no solutions nor compensations. Long story short, I went to Costco and bought a cake and called it a day. But that was a waste of 3 hours of my life waiting for them …. The moral of the story is : if you have a birthday party or an important event DO not trust this bakery to make your cake nor desserts. It’s not worth the risk. Costco is way...

Unassuming façade but really great treats. I've walked past this place for years and never thought to walk in. But it was a warm today and the ice cream sorbet on display beckoned. The mango gelato was bursting with fresh fruit flavor, so was the banana something. I noticed they also had knafeh.
