I have been coming to this restaurant for about 15 years now, order the same thing every time and it never misses HOWEVER, my visit here in May 2024, I found a pretty decent length of hair in my meal amongst the pan fried lemongrass chicken. I snapped a picture and came back to the restaurant a few days later to discuss it being that it's a 30 Minute drive and talking over the phone with a language barrier was problematic. The server that is normally there, lovely lady, was not there so I told the young woman who was serving and showed her the picture, she just said oh and that was it. I decided to just leave and come back another day... Today, again, I missed the familiar server. I reported it to this server and showed her the pictures, she apologized and asked what I wanted to do I said just replace the meal that I had discarded due to the hair being in it. She says okay, I'm thinking great case closed and ordered I deleted the picture because I didn't need to keep it anymore, then she says $16.50 I'm like what????! She goes and gets "the boss" from the back he comes out NO HAIR NET the person prepping food isn't wearing one either and tells me he's the boss and only chef (all this time I'm looking at the guys hair realizing this is who shed into my meal.) Anyway, at this point I'm extremely irritated and considered loudly announcing for people dining in to check their food because chef isn't wearing a hairnet but I just paid and left. This was disappointing and hopefully my meal today will be hair free as usual. Wish I kept the picture to illustrate...

I’ve been eating here for over 10 years and the quality has never changed. It’s some of the freshest and delicious tasting food around. I always get the chicken and vegetables and ginger beef. Best ginger beef ever. If you eat in the restaurant it’s very cute and everyone who works there is so kind. So happy they’re finally on Skip!

Edit: Unfortunately I’ve had to lower my rating. It’s been a few months since we’ve ordered and I noticed the menu has changed. Not a big deal and I managed to find our old favourite dishes, but unfortunately the quality seems to have changed with it. Both dishes were smaller in portion size but not less expensive. For that portion size and what we paid this evening, compared to other restaurants it was simply overpriced. The ginger beef that was always one of our favourites in the city was lacking sauce, very hard and close to inedible. We’ve been visiting this restaurant for years and have never once been disappointed with our meal until tonight. I checked recent reviews and one mentions new management but I don’t want to assume. I think it is fair to mention we went in the last hour of the restaurant being open, so perhaps during peak times quality is better, but sadly, I don’t think we’ll be returning...

Sadly this used to be one of my favorite places in the past years. With new management its gone downhill so bad. Brought my husband here tonight talking up the best deep fried squid comes from here. Did not even look at the menu for apps as I always get the deep fried squid. She asked if it was for both of us, clearly we were having two different conversations Waited over 45 mins for our food, when it came out we both asked if our appetizer was coming she said what deep fried squid leaves to get a menu. Shows me there is none on menu 🤷‍♀️ Then why did you write it down and ask if it was for both of us..

Husband ask for root beer 3 times and was brought the bill and debit machine.

Serious serious lack of communication or lack of understanding English

We had a table behind us ordering take out from another restaurant as they sat there.

I didn't really touch my food, nor did my husband

We left after paying and went to Boston pizza Save your money Horrible service Not clean Not worth the possible...

Tried Saigon Paradise and ordered the shrimp mango salad, grilled pork and shredded pork (cuom suong), and grilled beef shish-ka-bob (bo bon mon). The shrimp mango salad wasnt for me. The mango and bell peppers had strong flavors that had strong contrast. The cum suong was pretty good. The pork was tender and its what you would traditionally expect. The Bo bon mon was the best part. It’s a build-your-own rice roll platter with fresh and pickled veggies, plus tasty grilled meats and sausages. Everything was fresh and all the ingredients tasted very good. Decent stop if your in the area!

We love this place, very homey and comfortable with great food and excellent service! I know it's called Saigon Paradise but we mostly order from the Thai section of the menu. Some of our favourite appetizers are the green onion cakes and salad rolls and they make a fantastic ginger beef! Their Pad Thai is excellent and we love #128 (filet mignon in yellow curry) but we always get something with their delicious red curry, usually #154 and we always get them to add tofu for a few dollars more. Bottom line is that they make fantastic Thai food and you really can't go wrong!

Ordered all three House Special and fried rice, beef stew, papaya and mango salad to bring home for family feast. And we loved it, tooks us no time to goes through everything. The meat are well seasoned and grilled perfectly, the fired rice is next level, the egg and other incredient mixed very well with some butter flavor takes me back to my childhood in Vietnam. The salads are spicy, crunchy and refreshing. The price I think is reasonal. To order large amount like this, i would suggest call in at least a day before to book it and to avoid waiting time.
