Firehouse Subs Dorval — Restaurant in Oakville

So today I decided to go here for the first time i was ripped off , overcharged and then given the wrong change so shorted as well ..so upset 😡 I took my 8 year old and bought 2 medium subs and got a combo for my daughter it came to 40.19 $ wich is really high so I inquire why I paid 3.99 to make it a combo but received no free fountain drink or anything else and was charged for the drinks 3.99 a drink so when I said I dint understand why im paying 3.99 to make it a combo when your charging me 3.00 more for the fountain drink and another 1.70 for the brownie ..he argued with me the combo gets you 30 cents off ...um why would I pay 3.99 plus 3.00 for nothing so he argued and argued until I left then I realised he also short changed me ..when I paid 3.59 for the drink that I was supposed to get for free so I went to return as I had already called another firehouse sub to double cheak as it makes no sense why id pay 3.99 to make it a combo and recieve nothing ..NOTHING AT ALL for that 3.99 I told him I want the free fountain drink I paid the 3.99 for he said ok pretended to give me the money back but I only got .50 cents so he charged me twice 🙄 I was then livid after arguing in circles with him asked to speak to manager of course he says im the manager ..im now curious how many ppl are being overcharged absolutely robbery horrible rip off I want my money back so if the real higher up would msg me pls id love a word .the firehouse subs near me told me I had been ripped off and this bad review was my only course of action ...avoid this place I paid 40 bucks for 2 medium subs 11.49 and 13.29 plus 3.99 how does that come to 40 $ plus !!!!!!!!! Terrible idiots dont even know what a combo consists of...

Firehouse Subs are FIRE

After looking through the very easy and simple to follow menu, I ordered the Zesty Garlic Hook and Ladder sub. It was worth getting the large option, even as a first-timer. Overall, the sub was spectacular. It was spilling from the amount of toppings, and they were very generous with the meats. I had high expectations for the bread, and it was excellent compared to other sub places. My first bite impression was, "Oh ya, this is what I needed!" Literally slammed my hand on the table.

To compliment the amazing subs, they have a drink fountain with many customisable sodas. So it was my first time trying lime flavored ginger ale and coke zero cherry, I can only describe this as extraordinary.

Price and quality... better than the competitors, for sure. I can't settle for most other sub chains anymore. I can easily say a huge majority will agree with this as well. Fresh bread, perfectly selected vegetables, and high-quality meats. Each bite is an explosion of great taste.

The atmosphere was very comfortable. From walking in, I noticed immediately a few things. Clean floor, tables, chairs, and no overpowering smells. It was exactly what a dining environment is supposed to be. There's certainly a high attention to detail with the cleaning done here.

A huge thanks to the great service as well. As a first-timer ordering was done swiftly and the communication was very clear. I did have a question relating to the bread, and the associate brought it to me for comparison, which helped me in a huge way making a final decision. Hi I use to come here allot. I evan spent easliey over $100 for the catering boxes. Now today everything changed evan the workers. There's one short asain girl she's a hard worker. I remember her from the beginning. Super nice. Unffortaly the last box I bought from there just didn't have the love. The guy in charge doesn't put more toppings on it. He was rude when i asked about that. Just the meat mostly. To be honest I'm gona start looking for other places. First I'll go across the road to Quiznos subs. I didn't go in a while I should try some again. There good worth going back. Plus here u get poor English surprised are we No. I wish people could hire normal people who speak decent English.
