Had the regular-sized dandan noodles (not pictured) and the large-sized beef soup, each with second smallest sized noodles. Two eggs and two drinks. Came to $41, which is definitely not bad these days for eating out. Also left with two takeout containers, enough for another meal from each dish.
Cute little location. Busy, even though a Sunday evening - all tables full. Wait was no longer than the wait when ordering at a sit-down restaurant, 10-15 minutes. Though, server apologized for the wait, so perhaps some people were minding.
The side dishes all looked very good, so will try a different side dish next time.
Partner very happy with the taste and texture of the noodles as well as the beef and broth. For me, the dandan noodles were sauced just the right amount and the broth on the side was the right amount of salt and pepper.
Not bad for stopping by on a whim! Will be back.

Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience. I ordered two mild dishes, making it very clear that they needed to be not spicy since I was dining with my children. One of the dishes came out extremely spicy - completely inedible. When I raised the issue, the staff dismissed my concern, saying it “might have been the sauce” and that “others don’t find it spicy.” That’s completely irrelevant - I couldn’t eat it, and neither could my kids.
Instead of taking responsibility, they insisted on charging me for both meals, saying they “have to pay for it.” That is unacceptable. A restaurant that values its customers would acknowledge the mistake and make it right. Instead, they showed zero care or accountability. I left feeling unheard, frustrated, and frankly, appalled. I will not dine here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who expects even basic...
Read moreWe arrived at the store around 18:00 and were seated by 18:13, which wasn’t an issue despite the place being busy.
However, the real problem was that four different groups who arrived after us were served before we were, even after I tried to get the staff’s attention. We ended up waiting 15–20 minutes with no assistance.
Eventually, a staff member noticed us and helped, but overall, the experience was disappointing. The service at the Markham location is much better—staff there are more polite, while here, they came off as rude and didn’t even say “you’re welcome.”
As for the food, the beef skewers were just okay—too much seasoning. The noodles, however, were good.
It could have just been an off day, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t return unless the staff improves their...
