My wife and I had the pleasure of stopping by the Knar Jewellers store in Oakville a month and a half back. As usual, I was in the hunt for a Rolex BLNR on an Oyster bracelet and I had already braced myself for the inevitable answer of nothing being available and to be a bit patient.

The response I received took me by surprise. Let me explain. Given that most stores in the GTA expected to book an appt. before coming in, I called in earlier in the day and was told that there was no appt. needed. We dropped by a few hours later and were promptly greeted by our Rolex associate named Suheil.

He very politely asked me for my interest and reason for visiting the store. He navigated my wife and I over to the Rolex section of the store and got us comfortably seated. He asked me a few questions about my interest in Rolex and if I had owned any other Rolexes or any other luxury brands in the past.

Suheil did mention that the watch I was looking for wasn't available at the moment but he did take down my details and any other preferences.

My wife has recently gotten into watches as well and she was looking for a very specific Datejust in 2 tone Rose.

Long story short, I was so enamoured by the customer service provided by Suheil and the whole Knar team. Not once did we feel rushed.

Fast forward to today, I get a call and it’s Suheil on the line telling me that they have the exact Datejust model in store and if I was still interested. We rushed in within the hour and to my wife’s delight, it was exactly the piece she was looking for. Suheil, was gracious enough to walk over every detail with her from the clasp resizing to winding the watch. He was patient and informative. I also had the pleasure of meeting another Sales Associate named Vic this time around and it’s been a while since I had such an engaging convo with a person in a long long time. We discussed everything from watches to crypto and then some more watches!! :)

I wanted to thank both, Suheil and Vic, for such an exceptional experience. They have 100% gotten a customer in me (still patiently waiting on my Batman :) )

This review encompasses my experiences with Knar Jewellery over the past four years.

My experience began approximately four years ago when I began seeking a luxury watch. While I was unsure about which brand, model or style I was seeking, I visited several boutiques and authorized dealers and was met with a degree of condescension and sales pressure , which I greatly resented.

It was actually only by chance that I attended the Knar boutique and spoke to Greg Buzbuzian. It was a chance encounter that left a marked difference and one that really made me feel immediately at ease. Greg was passionate about his watches and shared this glowing passion with me. It was a memorable experience that left me knowing that one day, I’d be returning and buying a watch from this place.

Not long after, I returned and placed an order for my first luxury timepiece - a Tudor Black Bay Heritage, a watch that I absolutely love and will cherish for the rest of my years. While the watch was on my radar among several others, having its endorsement from Greg turned the dial to make me commit to this timepiece at the exception of its other competitors. A year and a half later, I know I definitely made the right choice.

Approximately a year ago, I returned to Knar to place an order for the Rolex OP41 and a few days ago, I was contacted by Sasha Buzbuzian, who told me that they had received this watch and I could come by and pick it up. Due to the lockdown implications, I was limited to a curbside purchase. But, it was still a memorable and amazing experience. Needless to say, the OP is one of the most exquisitely stunning timepieces I have ever laid my eyes on.

I cannot speak more highly of the staff at Knar. They are knowledgeable, passionate and incredibly helpful. From my past experiences with boutiques and authorized dealers of luxury watches, my gripe has always been the pressure tactics in trying to achieve a quick sale while treating the customer with an air of condescension. I recently visited Knar Jewellery twice and both times the experience exceeded my expectations. Starting with the security guards at the front door, both were friendly and personable, explaining the process of entering politely. Smiles and head nods greeted me by the Sales Associates who were busy with customers. It was hard to notice that the store was immaculate. Very clean and organized. By the time I got situated, another Sales Associate, Farrah, approached me with a smile and asked if she could help me. I had an appointment and Farrah checked me in and offered me a variety of refreshments. She took the time to show me many timepieces that I was interested in. She was very knowledgeable in the brand and each piece I was intrigued by. Farrah was able to guide me and offered good advice in terms of how the watches wore helped me narrow down my choices without being pushy towards any one model. She had great information regarding realistic availability, which was key in me making my final choice. She also took the time to allow me to try on a couple other brands that I am interested in. Naturally asking to try "just one watch" turned into eight or nine, but I did not feel like I needed to rush or that I was taking up her time even though she was aware that I was not going to purchase the ones I was trying on.

I will definitely be going back to Knar Jewellery, to hopefully pick up and purchase the timepiece chosen and for other watches that I have my eye on. I'm looking forward to seeing Farrah again.
