Food was ok. You pay the downtown Oakville prices, but the food wasn't anything different from other places in Mississauga or Oakville, which makes the prices not worth everything on the menu.

My issue was one of the staff was so passive aggressive around our 14month old.

He did great considering his age, he's a baby, he never screamed or caused a scene, he babbled and played and hung out. He threw his food around (which babies do) but we cleaned it up, especially under his seat. At one point he had a plastic bowl and smacked it on the table twice, I was in the process of cutting his food to give him, then a staff member came and told me he's being loud and tried to put a mat under him, I said I'm about to feed him he's going to stop...

Then throughout the whole night everytime she walked by him she kept giving dirty looks to the rice on the floor by his chair. Look, I know he made a mess, but we all got up from our seats and always picked up whatever was thrown outside his seat and I had a garbage bag and cleaned as I go.

My point is she made it very unwelcoming. If you don't want kids then why have a kids seat? Why have seperate cups and plates for them?

Other staff were so nice, and none of the customers around seemed bothered with a kid being a kid. Like I said he didn't anything crazy outside smack a plastic plate on the table a couple times and babbled a lot.

Everyone else was great, really kind and didn't seem to have an issue with a baby being there, But that one waitress put a sour taste in our mouth. Don't think we'll...

UPDATE- Day 2: We placed our second order from Kibo today, November 26th, after enjoying amazing sushi from them the other night. This time, we ordered three Spicy Tuna rolls and a Green Dragon roll.

Unfortunately, a few pieces of the Spicy Tuna rolls were so fishy that we had to spit them out. This was a disappointing contrast to our previous experience, and we’re unsure if we’ll order from here again.

Consistency is important to me when it comes to sushi, and today’s experience did not match the quality we had just a few days ago.

Day 1: After seeing a few mixed reviews, my partner and I decided to give Kibo Sushi in Oakville a try (we ordered off Uber), and I’m so glad we did! It far exceeded our expectations and left a lasting impression.

We ordered three spicy tuna rolls, the beef tataki, and a crunchy avocado roll for our 1.5-year-old. Every dish was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor. As someone currently pregnant with my second child, sushi is my ultimate craving, and Kibo truly delivered.

We’ve been loyal to August 8 in the past, but their quality has noticeably declined lately. Kibo, on the other hand, completely blew us away. Every bite was delicious, and I found myself wishing we’d ordered more.

If you’re looking for a quick, satisfying sushi fix that doesn’t compromise on quality, I wholeheartedly recommend Kibo. It’s a gem in Oakville, and we’ll...

Kibo is definitely my go to sushi spot. All of the food is extremely balanced, of high quality, and fresh no matter which location I visit. It has an extremely ambient environment and the staff are quite accommodating. Their menu has a huge assortment of items with many being dietary safe (vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free) and consisting of interesting flavour combinations. I typically order their golden dragon roll, inari sushi and miso soup as pictured below (Around $26 after tax, before tip). The only issue I've found is that foods containing unagi (eel) take significantly longer than other items. Luckily, the staff are quite kind and have offered free karaage given it takes...

After visiting Kibo Sushi House in Oakville, I would like to share my thoughts on the experience. Firstly, the restaurant was recommended to me by a friend, and I have to say that it lived up to my expectations. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, which made for a pleasant dining experience. However, the only downside was that the order took a while to arrive, which may have been due to the venue being fully packed. Nevertheless, the food tasted fresh, especially the salmon. Although there are other sushi options in the area, I would still consider visiting Kibo Sushi House again, primarily because of its location. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend it to others.

Ordered on UberEats as we have done several times but this time was terrible. Not sure if there is new management but the portions are significantly smaller and there was barely any rice. The individual sushi pieces were tiny and then a tiny ball of rice on the back. I've never seen sushi so thin across. The tuna didn't taste fresh and the shrimp was chewy. A very different experience to previous times and we will not be ordering or going again. We did try calling to complain but they said that someone different is making the sushi and to get a refund from UberEats. They don't give refunds on quality issues (crazy!) so we've ended up paying full price for awful sushi.
