Good shawarma, generous portions, fast and friendly service - a great choice for a lunch takeout.

As for dining in, you may want to rethink your choice. The place is extremely noisy, even when empty of patrons. The constant rumble of the exhaust fan running at full throttle makes the place seem like a wind tunnel test facility, except with more tabouli. Add to that the cook's habit of repeatedly banging his utensils against the skillet as loudly as he can, and the attempts of the staff to communicate with each other over this cacophony, and you get the picture. Forget talking; you wouldn't even hear your phone ring there. Or the seven trumpets of the apocalypse, for that matter.

As for maintenance, I have my doubts. I don't know how often they clean the place, but at 11am when the doors open, most tables already had oily residue stains. On some tables, the salt shaker was empty, on others--missing altogether, and "Happy Canada Day" signs were hanging, a month after the holiday. This is not due to staff shortage; when I stepped in, all three workers were engrossed in a loud, lively debate, perhaps about their health plan's coverage of hearing aids, if I had to guess.

Monday noon: they are all out of beef shawarma. Seriously?! This is one of their two top selling items. Osmow's, I love your food, but it's hard to escape the impression that the place is run by well-intentioned amateurs.

This is the kind of place that could, with minimal changes, become a top notch counter-serve restaurant, if only management was interested in--or capable of--listening...

This guy is always on his phone, I come here frequently even though lazeez is right across the street. I've never been so annoyed, and I never write google reviews. The food was fine, but the service really pissed me off (guy in the picture), I always order shawarma with fries on the side. I get my order and ask where the fries are? He says it's inside the wrap, im like, what do you mean? I asked for it on the side, not inside the wrap.. so you're telling me I just paid $20 for a wrap? The guy that made the wrap was nice enough to offer some fries on the side but the guy in the picture just kept arguing with me that I said "you said inside the wrap", no apology, just kept arguing with me. I just walked out and didn't cause a scene. I've never seen anyone so useless, entitled, and incompetent. Fire him immediately. Also, the last time I went, the same guy took my order and asked for fries on the side, and when I got home, there were no fries inside my bag. I didn't complain or demanded fries from them. I didn't know fries could cause this much trouble. I don't know who gave this guy a job, but there needs to be changes at this location, and no wonder this location has 4.0 stars only. I bet a 16-year-old can do a better job than him. Please get rid of him. I got the picture from another fellow reviewer below, haha. When more than 1 person says the same thing, it's usually true. 31May25: Finally back to great shwarmas. FIX the HANDICAP button & get rid of the smell in the Washroom. I still miss older eliminated dinner options. 25Oc23: The meat was better but not as good as experienced for years. I pray they haven't FORGOTTEN that QUALITY maintained for many years since my first experience with them. EXTREMELY telling is that they haven't fixed their handicap button for many years. So much so that I can't remember it EVER WORKING except maybe my first couple of visits. THIS speaks volumes about customer care & compliance with the laws & decency!

Lately, they have dropped in quality. My closest franchise has its meat too dry & constantly too cold. This location tastes too commercial this year! The meat is "NO LONGER" grilled hot with a crisp CONSISTENCY, as was done FOR YEARS. And/or something makes the meat too soft as if it was boiled, then warmed up on the grill. Go back to Beef Kofta, Kebabs & not too fast Swarmas. FAR too many restaurants taste "Frozen Food Commercial." I hope THIS store returns to Quality 🙏🏼
