Amazing new spot in downtown Oakville! The decor is very cute—bright and friendly. Each of their other locations have a distinct, Mediterranean-Middle Eastern style, and this place might be my fave!

For drinks I tried the Lebanese Mimosa and the gf tried Arak Lemonade. Both were super fresh and tasty. For apps we grabbed the labni with warm pita—a personal fave—as well as the crispy cheese rolls (Rakakat) and falafels. The flavours were vibrant yet balanced, and everything was perfect for sharing.

For mains we split the kefta skewers (lamb and beef) and a garlic shrimp appetizer, which they mentioned was the same as the shrimp main. The portion sizes were incredibly generous, as were the prices. Needless to say, we were pretty stuffed! We barely had enough room to try dessert, but the head chef insisted we try the Middle Eastern panna cotta, and it totally hit the spot.

The atmosphere at Tabule Oakville is quite nice and the service was excellent — the staff were attentive and welcoming, which made for a pleasant dining experience. However, when it comes to the food, I was disappointed.

The dishes felt more Westernized than authentic Lebanese/Arab cuisine. The hummus tasted more like something store-bought (similar to Costco hummus) rather than freshly made, and the bread wasn’t baked fresh but seemed reheated — likely in a microwave — leaving it doughy. The rice was underwhelming, and the main tabbouleh salad, which should have been a standout, fell flat compared to what you can get at many other places.

Overall, I’d rate the food around a 7/10. If you’re mainly looking for a spot with a nice atmosphere and great service, Tabule could be an option. But if authentic, high-quality Lebanese food is what you’re after, there are better...

Everything is outstanding—delicious food, exceptional cocktails, and an electric ambiance filled with great vibes, laughter, and everyone lingering, savouring every moment. The space is spectacular on every level, with chic lighting, stylish banquettes, sleek chairs, well-set tables, and a welcoming bar—every detail is remarkable.

The food is absolutely memorable. From the fresh and vibrant beet salad to the crisp Rakakat and Sambousek, every dish delights. The lamb chops are tender and perfectly cooked, while the eggplant and cauliflower are beautifully prepared and bursting with flavour. Dessert is the sweet finale: olive oil cake with apricots and orange zest, and a rich chocolate mousse with knaffe—pure indulgence!
