Tried Sri Lankan food for the first time tonight and ordered from Ammu Kitchen in London. Wow, what an experience! I got the chicken kothu roti and mutton kothu roti, and both were absolutely fantastic. The flavors were spot on, and even the gravy on the side was incredible. Honestly, most places mess up the gravy, but this one was full of flavor and paired perfectly with the food. The owner, Jeeva, was super welcoming and made the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their customers and the food they serve. I live in St. Thomas, so itâs about a 30-minute drive, but itâs totally worth it. I canât wait to go back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend checking them out if youâre in the area or even if you have to make a bit of a trip....
Read moreSuitable for takeout only. No facilty for dine in, except two chairs. Food and service are excellent. Crabcurry, pazham pori, medu vada parippu vada and masala Chai are very tasty. Idiappam ( string hoppers) and side dishes are also very tasty ( price marginally high compared to Toronto srilankan restaurants). Limited parking space behind and side. Total 4 or 5 spaces. But road side parking on side road available. Prices are reasonable ( below average compared to similar restaurants). Worth trying. I will go back to this restaurant tomorrow ( 3 days after my first visit). I wish more people patronize...
Read moreThis place doesnât even deserve 1 star. The tea is watery and not creamy. We pay $2 just to drink plain water tea. We order tea, and when we have it at home, it has no tasteâjust pure water. We complained, and itâs the same. They have to provide value for money.
Multiple times, I had dhal vada (snacks) that were one or two days old. They re-fry the same and sell it. They are selling old, expired food. I donât know what to expect from this place. I have stopped eating and going to this place. It was the worst experience. Save yourself and your money....
