Billy K's — Restaurant in Ontario

BE ADVISE DELIVERY* SALAD WITH NO DRESSING for 16$ to 20$(without or with chicken).

My family and I have ordered/delivery or pick up from their restaurant for over 4 years now. And I was always impressed! What I liked the most was the no contact delivery especially when one of the family members is sick, we just ordered and didn’t worry. I always tip very good 10-15$ per order of 50-75$. And we are 2k away from the restaurant.

Anyway, I love the salad and my hubby and kids love the burgers and hot dog hahaha! I was so disappointed the two last time, they forgot to send the dressing. The first time, I just didn’t bother and use my dressing from home. This time I had none in my house, so I called… I was told I can come pick it up… because it’s a free item. Although I explained that I don’t eat a salad without dressing and that I can’t go in everyone in my house are sick including myself! Well, because it’s a « free » item they won’t send it… so the salad is in my fridge now rotting… I unfrozed a soup and eat that… called the next day and spoke with another Lady and she talked to someone else about that « dressing Lady »! Everyone know the story, but nobody is doing anything! Tried to talk to the owner or manager… no one on site!!! Also, the picture so taken the day of the delivery and the salad tomatoes looks not fresh at all. Anyhow, at this point, I just won’t to return the item! This is a very bad experience and customer...

I always make it a point to visit if I come to Cornwall. It's not exactly easy when you have 75' of truck to park, but I just park over beside the old CN yard beside the Food Basics and it's a quick hike across the street. Last time I visited, it was very close to closing time, but they still served me with a smile and cheerful comments. Unfortunately, there was an incident where a customer ahead of me left with her order incomplete... when they realized that her cheesedog hadn't been packaged, someone ran out with it, but the lady was already pulling out onto the road, and she was gone. There was some light-hearted joking about it and how they were going to fix this problem. One of the cooks put the item in question on my tray as my order was being assembled. Ever since that night, I've been looking over my shoulder, afraid that that lady will be coming after ME for her cheesedog. I must say though, that it certainly was delicious, as is everything that I've ever bought here :) If I ever see that lady, I'll be happy to buy her another one. Anything to get me out from under the fear, and the guilt of eating her cheesedog. Then I can return to Cornwall in relative comfort. TLDR: They lost my order, but remade it for free

Been here many times throughout my life as I grew up in cornwall. Food is always great. Staff is friendly, and prices are fair.

They have recently started to deliver, in response to the Covid-19 crisis. I placed my order over the phone at 7:30 ish. I waited for about an hour and half, and decided to call back to inquire about the meal.

Well they had lost my order. I, personally, was not angered by this. Mistakes happen. And Billy Ks has a tendency to be busy. The woman on the phone was very polite and helpful. She offered me a free drink for my inconvenience, and I happily accepted.

Food comes only 10 minutes later, with a large fountain drink, and it was all on the house. Now that's good service. It proves that they care about their customers for acknowledging and making good on a mistake. I would've recommended before. But now I couldn't...
