The menu is limited but almost everything we tried was excellent. The oysters and brie wheel were a lovely way to start, along with a pitcher of sangria. The branzino was tender and on its own bland, but eaten with the sauces on the side was delicious. The Chicken Supreme was also very good, though the risotto that came with it was a little too al dente. The service was great with the exception of our waitress forgetting to bring our wine, even after double checking with us that we still wanted it. Also, they appear to be anxious about getting you out of the restaurant as minutes after being seated we were told we had to be out in an hour and a half. I am not a fan of production line service. The ambiance leaves a much to be desired. It's a small place and very noisy as dishes, pots and pans can be heard clanging in the background while patrons and wait staff speak louder and louder in order to compete with the sound coming out of the kitchen. If you're looking for romance, this may not be the place for you but if you don't mind the noise, a very good...

We had an amazing dinner experience last night at this cozy spot. The atmosphere was perfect—dimly lit with a relaxed, intimate vibe that made for a lovely evening. Our waitress was incredibly pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed.

We kicked things off with the bruschetta, which was a total standout. It was fresh, flavorful, and just phenomenal. I have to mention that my husband, who normally avoids tomatoes, couldn’t stop talking about how much he loved it!

For the main course, my husband went with the lamb, and I opted for the classic carbonara. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. My carbonara was rich and comforting, just what I needed. We wrapped up with the chocolate mousse and crème brûlée, both of which were indulgent and perfectly executed.

We can’t wait to come back and share this hidden gem with our friends and family. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food and a wonderful...

Believe it or not I initaly went into this building for a haircut which unfortunately was closed., and noticed a restaurant at the end of the hallway called Birchwood , so I figured I'd just have a drink as I never even heard of the place nor had planned on finding it, to my surprise the service was absolutely phenomenal from the welcoming I received just by peeping my head in the doorway to deciding to order up a ceaser which was spot on in taste, and after having a quick peek at the menu decided to try something light, so I ordered the white wine mussels wow absolutely amazing both presentation and taste ... I'm so happy I stumbled upon this little gem of a place..... I will definitely be back asap to further explore there menu..... Kind Regards Todd sullivan Definitely a new customer going forward ..

Like the old expression states "Some of the best things in life you find...

I wish I took a picture of the food. Had the Chicken soup and zucchini salad with shrimp. Absolutely inspiring! The place was so CLEAN! They even sanitized the seat of the booth! Met chef Carson, he mentioned he moved the restaurant from accross town, then under a different concept. I didn’t partake in cocktails, but they had quite the selection. ‘Gold’ silverware with clean new dishes. Service was awesome.

Fav in cornwall. Went during happy hour between lunch and dinner. Minestrone, mussels, cheese & cured meat charcuterie board was fantastic. Suuuuper delicious and beautifully presented. Will def go again and again:)) Parking was a bit tricky with google maps, so I suggest not following Google, as it will take u round and round. We ended up parking at a close by retail building and walking a little.

The first time for mussels in Cornwall. The Birchwood got it right, the mussels were tasty with the wine broth, it made a nice soup in the end. The price is good and food quality excellent. The service was wonderful, there enough to get your order and find out if your food is to your liking, well worth returning to.
