I recently had the pleasure of indulging in two of the signature dishes at this establishment: the Shawarma Plate and the Chicken Biryani. Starting with the Shawarma Plate, it was an experience beyond expectations. The quantity of food served was generous, surpassing the offerings of notable competitors like Osmows. Each bite of the shawarma was a burst of well-balanced flavors, showcasing a blend of spices and tender meat that was simply delectable.
Moving on to the Chicken Biryani, it was a culinary masterpiece. The dish was a harmonious balance of fluffy, aromatic rice and succulent chicken pieces. The proportion of chicken to rice was remarkable, ensuring a meaty experience in every spoonful. The flavors were rich and authentic, appealing to anyone with an affinity for traditional biryani. Moreover, for those who relish a spicy kick in their meals, this Chicken Biryani is a must-try.
Overall, my dining experience here was exceptional. Every bite was a testament to the quality and authenticity of their cooking. This restaurant is a hidden gem for anyone seeking out flavorsome and hearty meals. Highly recommended for lovers of spicy and traditional cuisines.
Went back again during Ramadan to open my fast. You can pray and enjoy your food. Space is enough for two person to pray at a time. Food was ok. Lamb biryani was 2.5/5 and beef biryani was 3/5. However their chicken...
Read moreThis place got one star because google doesnt allow zero stars. Stinky smelly place, very very dirty and short staffed. They have filthiest washroom and entire place smells the same as washroom. Food is so bad, i cant even begin to explain. I woke up next day with diarrhoea. Butter chicken cant be made worse than this. It tasted liked burned onions, chicken pieces were visibly burned. I am seriously amazed at how someone can make chat pappari so bad. My jaw dropped at the sight of those naans, like who serves store bought pita bread in a restaurant calling it a “naan”? If you dont have a tandoor just dont put naan on the menu. Speaking of the menu, the management is confused about what they want to sell, they sell shawarma, biryani, butter chicken, korma (on the menue, not in stock) samosa chaat, and dosa???!!! PICK A LANE for god sake, how do shawarmas and dosas relate to each other??? 100 things on menu and all of them suck big time!!! This place should be closed soon….nobody should be allowed to scam tourists like this. Ps…..these are not just my (including 5 people in my family) views, all other people eating there looked visibly unhappy, because their service also sucks as bad...
Read moreAwful, the food was gross and for the price it was a rip off. The meat was so gross. And I love that food. 13bucks for a poutine 1/2 the size of the competition. Maybe 5 small pieces of beef on the poutine. And it wasn't fried up or freshly cut. It was sitting in a stew in a warmer.. Nasty.
And for me being the only customer at 3pm it took for ever compared to anywhere else to get my food made and it was a bloody donair poutine.
These people are very cheap I suggest you go elsewhere.
I love house of donair way more. The service is friendly, fast and fresh. And you get what you pay for. This place didn't even dent my hunger.
I had high hopes for this place but you guys sunk that ship.
I've had great food from Ottawa, London and kingston ontario as I've lived in all these places.. This place was awful
Don't believe the reviews go elsewhere if you can there is another place around the corner that's 100% better.
0 out of 5 stars if I could
The restrooms arnt marked so you have no idea if your going into a storage closet, and they had no paper to dry your hands. For a place that's dead inside you should have the very...
