Terrible I live right down the street from this KFC. I’ve never came there before and decided to use the online coupon. I bike over and I enter the store at 8:35-ish p.m. and the store closes at nine.. there is an older couple in front of me who is waiting for their food that is already been ordered. They receive it through the mobile order box pick up and ask politely for two extra sets of utensils. The already stressed out worker throws and slams the utensils next to the food. Obviously, the customer is upset. They tried getting an explanation for what happened and too no prevail. They left the store and said how they were going to complain to corporate then it was my turn to order. Everything went smooth other than him adding on an extra pop accidentally, but I caught it and he removed it. No big deal, Then I see another person Walk in stood at the queue, waiting to order behind me then that same rude worker stormed out from behind the kitchen, ran and locked the doors from the inside.. stopping other customers from wanting to enter if they would like I then open my phone to check the time and there is still 16 minutes left till they fully closed The man who ordered behind me ended up getting his food before me no big deal Leaving just me and the rude worker in the store…. A Nice young couple came up to the door And attempted to enter and purchase food and with no luck, the doors were locked. They went back to there cars Me being upset seeing that they couldn’t get food with still 15 minutes left till close I decided to go out and open the door for them for which they came inside and said thank you.. the rude worker Then complained and yelled at me for letting them in denied them service. I then told him you can’t deny a customer 15 minutes before closing which he then proceeded to tell me they have no more chicken left and they are told to shut down 15 minutes before close The couple ends up leaving and the worker throws my food in a crumpled up bag at me through the Mobile order station I open my bag to check my sandwich. I have received no napkins. My corn had no seasoning on it, and my sandwich was just slightly...
Read moreThis is the last time I go to any KFC in Canada. I know the Canadian chain is not using their original recipe, without a doubt. Their french fries used to have more potato skins on them and they were white and not yellow. They at least used to have a potato taste. The chicken looks the same and smells the same, but there's no flavor on it when you take a bite. The whole idea of KFC is a secret recipe seasoning that you can actually taste. Why should I add seasoning to something that's supposed to be already cooked to perfection? I do not expect anyone to be perfect! But the reason we go to restaurants is because they already have signature ingredients in their food. There's nothing wrong with adding salt, black pepper, or sauce. The issue is they are an insult to the founder's recipe. Change is okay sometimes, but not when you completely remove the effective ingredients that you can distinguish the difference between a deep fried chicken that anyone at home can make and someone else's recipe. I mean yeah I give them credit for that nice looking unique crispy skin on the outside. But I don't taste something that's a "secret recipe". Their gravy is just ridiculously bland! One of the reasons people go to restaurants is because they want to try different recipes. Why completely remove the recipe from all your food? Is this plain taste with no salt on it or any seasoning at all the reason why KFC became so popular in the first place?? Change can be good, but not when you're eliminating everything from the damn recipe! Have you noticed how Canada has less and less locations every single year period? Have you noticed how other restaurants have similar issues? Have you noticed how businesses that treat people stupid lose loyal, existing, and new customers? So why should I leave a respectful review at least, when your restaurant is only in the business for the money, instead of in the business of serving intelligent people who chose to go to your restaurant for a meal? How disgusting of...
Read moreDear KFC Canada, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I’ve received regarding my order placed on December 2, 2023, at 12:28 PM. My order number is #17017, and I paid $34.97 online, which included a $5 delivery fee. Unfortunately, I never received the order. A week later, I visited the restaurant and spoke with a shop assistant who took note of my order number and assured me that he would report the issue to the company for a refund. To compensate for the inconvenience, he offered me two chicken sandwiches. However, despite his assurances, I did not receive the promised refund. A month later, I returned to the restaurant, and a different shop assistant again took down my order number, promising to escalate the issue to ensure I received my refund. Despite this, no action was taken, and I was left waiting once more. Due to the pressure of exams and assignments, I was unable to follow up immediately. However, when I visited the restaurant again today, August 9, 2024, at 12:30 PM, I was shocked by the response I received. The shop assistant called the manager, who informed me that too much time had passed and no solution would be offered. I was then asked to leave the premises, which I found both unfair and deeply disrespectful. I am extremely disappointed with how I have been treated. I paid for a service I did not receive and have had to visit the restaurant multiple times to seek a resolution, only to be dismissed without a refund. Is this how you treat your customers? I expected better from KFC Canada. It’s disheartening to see such disregard for customer satisfaction. At this point, it seems you are unwilling to resolve the matter, and I regret that this is the level of service you offer. I hope you never have to experience this kind of frustration...
