Really good ramen. Best in kingston by far. When compared to other places in province i give it a 8/10. What kingston lacks in variety atleast it makes up in quality. Went with group and tried multiple dishes. The original is kinda bland but the shoryu, miso and garlic spice ones were delicious and flavourful. I got the beef miso flavour. My biggest complaint isnt taste it service. Its a noodle shop and we went when was less people and took 20 min+. This isnt first time, went with group 2 still took 20 min+. Many other noodle joints its fast less then 5 min. So go in expect like other sit down places like montana. Dont expect a quick bite. So not a good option for quick bite before an event or if time is tight. This is also june. I can only imagine when all queens students come back its going to be more slow. The ramen prices arent bad for quality but buy anything else and you turned a 16-18 dollar meal into 30. The side dishes are expensive. There are meal deals like 2 can dine and 4 can dine where you can get pop and side for 20 each. I would get that. Pop by itself is like 3 bucks and a side 7 to 8. So getting the meal you only add 2-3 bucks instead of 10- 11 if you didnt bring a friend. Atleast the washrooms are super clean also the music is soothing kinda spent too much time in there as was relaxing. I also took a bite before making pic so not asthetic but the smell was too good to wait. Also was enjoying the atmosphere and forgot take pics around. Really only service and extras prices are my complaints about the place. Otherwise would come back for the ramen.

Ate here for the first time and was delighted that they had vegetarian broth and gluten free noodles. The food was very good and the staff were friendly. Our 8 month old really enjoyed the location with large windows and lots to look at. I am rating it an over all 4 stars because the gluten free / vegan alternative noodles (shirataki noodles) are an extra $5.90 which is ridiculous. I always have to pay extra for gluten free alternatives but never this much. Also my original vegetarian ramen only came with one thin slice of bean curd which tasted great but was disappointing there wasn’t more - adding an extra slice of bean curd would be $2.90 and it’s not worth that much extra. I’d love to go back as everything tasted great and the atmosphere was nice but with a bill of over $25 for one person for lunch I’d likely choose other places over this.

My recent visit to Restaurant Kinton was nothing short of a complete disaster. If you value your time, sanity, and appetite, I strongly advise you to steer clear of this establishment. From the moment we sat down until the moment we finally received our meals, it was an excruciating exercise in patience and frustration.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were initially impressed by the ambiance and decor. However, any positive impression quickly dissipated as the waitstaff seemed disorganised and oblivious to the fact that customers were eagerly waiting for service. When our starters arrived, the disappointment continued. The food's quality was underwhelming, with bland flavours and overcooked textures,

The first red flag was our waiter, who appeared to be the epitome of inefficiency. After finally getting his attention, we requested water, expecting it to be a simple and quick task. But no, our waiter took a leisurely 45 minutes just to bring us a simple glass of water. This level of negligence and incompetence is utterly unacceptable and left us feeling ignored and unimportant. Our patience was truly put to the test as we waited for our meals to arrive. The hour-long wait seemed never-ending, and by this point, any hunger we had upon arrival had been replaced by irritation and disappointment. The kitchen's delays were unfathomable, and it made us wonder if they had forgotten about our order altogether. And later as it turns out was the case.

Throughout the wait, we attempted to get our waiters attention for drink refills or to address the issues with the food, but he was nowhere to be found. Or if he did see us he would make eye contact with us and completely ignore us. Not once did he come to check on us or tell us how long till our food would be ready. It seemed like he had vanished into thin air, leaving us stranded with no means of resolving the problems we encountered.

In the end, this restaurant's blatant disregard for customer service and complete lack of organisation ruined what should have been a pleasant dining experience. They clearly have servers who don't know what they're doing. I'm sure the food would have been great had they served us our meal. We ended up just leaving and finding a different place to eat at that took us only 10 minutes to get served our meal.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against wasting your time and money at Restaurant Kinton. The agonising wait times, unresponsive staff, and subpar food quality make this establishment a regrettable choice for anyone seeking a pleasant meal. There are far better dining options available that actually value their customers and provide a level of service for...

From the moment I stepped into Kinton Ramen in Kingston, I knew I was in for an authentic ramen experience that would transport my taste buds straight to the heart of Japan. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, reminiscent of the bustling ramen shops in Tokyo, making the dining experience feel genuinely authentic.

The service here is nothing short of exceptional. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring that every customer feels valued and well taken care of. Their recommendations were spot-on, guiding me through the menu with insightful suggestions that catered perfectly to my preferences.

Now, onto the star of the show - the ramen. Each bowl is a masterpiece, crafted with precision and care. The broth is rich and flavorful, striking the perfect balance of depth and subtlety, while the noodles are cooked to perfection, offering that satisfying chewiness that ramen lovers seek. The toppings are fresh, adding layers of texture and flavor that elevate the dish to new heights.

What truly sets Kinton Ramen apart is their commitment to authenticity and quality. It’s evident in every bite that they use only the finest ingredients, ensuring that each bowl is as delicious as it is genuine.

In conclusion, Kinton Ramen in Kingston is a must-visit for anyone seeking a real, authentic ramen...
