La Parrillada Grill and Latin Cuisine Downtown — Restaurant in Ontario

I always wanted to try Uruguayan food, and lucky to find one in London, Ontario as there should have a Taste of Uruguay in this city. Asada and South American cuisine is quite underrated when it comes to international food besides Italian, Japanese, North American (US and Canadian), Vietnamese or Chinese. I got the Uruguayan dish that is around $15.00; and it has the steak, French fries or chips along with the salad. I recommend the Chimichurri on the steak as it is popular sauce in Argentina and Uruguay as I would highly recommend especially you are eating South American cuisine. I don’t know what the salad is called; if you choose the Uruguayan dish. I like the salad a lot and it is so refreshing a lot better than just Caesar or Greek salad. They do have empanadas, pupusas and other Latin American dish including Brazilian and Canadian. I recommend this Latin American restaurant to anyone in London, Ontario. I would try the Carne Asado again and Uruguayan food. They do have Colombian, Peruvian and Central American as well as Mexican. I will return back here in the future. Gracias for...

I was entirely shocked and disappointed by my experience at this location in the market. After looking online and seeing the various papusa options they had on their menu, I showed up, and ordered two varieties of papusas (jalapeño papusas and chicken papusas). The person working was extremely rude and told me they were only serving bean papusas. I asked when they’d have other papusas available and he said they won’t. I said I had looked up the menu and that was the reason I had come, and he said “maybe Friday we will have jalapeños. But we only have bean. That’s it. Only bean.” I decided to order 3 papusas anyway since I had come all that way for papusas, despite them not being the kind I came for. The amount I was charged did not reflect the prices listed on the menu but after all that back and forth, I left with my papusas. Have to say that this is my favorite Latin food restaurant in London Ontario. They even got clients traveling from outside London to try their menu. I had 10 tacos in a row around 2 weeks ago, love the meat empanadas and the Bandeja Paisa is definitely a must. Today I had "chicharron" with rice and salad. Just lovely. Nachos are by far best than those sold at any american-canadian franchise and the guacamole is quite fresh. Pretty sure is the only place offering "parrillada" with "entraña" and "asado de tira". A few weeks ago they had "lengua en salsa criolla", mind-blowing flavor and texture. If I could improve something would be the "tacos al pastor" lime, pineapple, onion and coriander are a must with that dish. Totally...
