Panache Bakery &Cafe — Restaurant in Ontario

Just WOW - exceptional. We were fortunate to find a place to park right in front of Panache Bakery, although we were not heading there at all. However, we considered it some sort of message from above that we were to go here (kidding) and just wow. We saw they had something called, Jalapeño Cheddar Sour Dough bread - in we went. And, although they were out of the JCSDB, they did have Smoked Onion Sour Dough Bread. There were so many other delicious looking options we "focused" and bought the bread. It is incredible and perhaps the best sour dough I have ever tasted! The service was fantastic, and although we were not planning on staying this time, we will return to sit and have a coffee and pastry in the future. There was also a very good looking selection of frozen options which I would also happily consider in the future based on the quality of the bread and the comments from others. Great to see an independent baker with such outstanding quality products. Do yourself a favour and get there even if you are just passing through. I would go out of my way en route to or from Kingston...

Maple Pecan Pie - pecans were crunchy but there was also a delish crispy edge to them. Crust was also excellent. I'd have again!

Tiramisu - first Tiramisu outside of Costco. Lovely serving that I ate for 1 but others may split for 2. The biscuits were soft the coffee wasn't overwhelming it was creamy. Great soft smooth texture. It was wonderful.

Cheddar Jalapeño Bread - Great flavour, not too spicy, held itself well thru toasting & buttering. They even sliced...

I LOVE pastries and I just had to try theirs...It was ok. It looked very appealing on the other side of the glass but not so much on my palate. That's just my opinion. There were a lot to choose from and I chose anything cheesecake. They had hot crossed buns which I've heard about as a young girl but I couldn't bring myself to try it. I didn't want to be disappointed. Maybe next time I'll definitely try it. The young man that helped with my order was very kind...
