Thai Express Restaurant Belleville — Restaurant in Ontario

I've now had three experiences with this Thai Express location; I've ordered once from Uber Eats and gone inside to order twice. I've not been impressed with either of my in-store experiences with the first one taking a considerable amount of time to process the one customer in front of me before I could get up to order and then having particular difficulty redeeming my birthday $10 promo code even though I put my phone number into their kiosk as required.

I just had my second in-store experience this evening where I was asked to wait while the employee swept the floors before they'd take my order, at which point they wouldn't honour my Virgin Plus rewards code for 10% off, saying that I would have to put my order in through the app while standing there waiting and then they would somehow give the discount through their till?

The food is great -it's a significant upgrade over other fast/fast-ish food options- however the service leaves much to be desired which is a shame for them since the mark-up on delivery really does push the value-for-dollar too low to both with Uber...

The staff were very friendly , however the food was worse than something you'd get at a food court in the mall. We visited July 19, I ordered the noodle dish with wide noodles and broccoli there was no broccoli in my meal. The beef was disgusting, it tasted like it had been microwaved . You can tell when meat has been microwaved because it has a more musty Flavour . My father had another noodle dish with beef at it as the protein and his as well didn't taste good and the meat was chewy. My daughter got the soup and she decided to take it home to add some chicken broth to it because there was no flavor and the chicken was tough and also tasted like microwave heated meat.

3 meals cost over $60 which seemed quite pricey for what you actually received. My Dad decided to treat us to dinner, unfortunately it wasn't a good experience and I would not go back or recommend...

Not impressed in the least. Was there on Sunday and the person making our food did a pretend hand washing. The station is right there for everyone to see, I asked him to wash his hands again, he just dipped them in the water. Then finally I said, can you please use soap and wash your hands, you've been handling 2 cell phones. he was annoyed at me however, the fact that I had to tell him this twice didn't impress me. The food was mediocre at best. My sons meal was drenched in sauce over 1 cup of sauce for a small box - the food was swimming in it. Their fresh rolls are way over priced for what you get $7 for a shrimp rolls which contained 2 shrimps at best. For 2 meals and a fresh rolls our meal was over $42.00 which is disappointing especially when you end up throwing it out. Won't be returning and I'm sorry I'm having to post such a...
