Me and my boyfriend recently moved into the area, and we were both itching to go out and explore. As avid foodies, first thing we wanted to check out was what restaurants/food were available to us. Our first stop? Windsor Kabob House.
We didn't know what to expect when we walked in! First thing we noticed was the lovely pantry/grocery section they have placed when you first walk in. As someone who relies on ordering or ubering for groceries, this was an immediate bonus. The actual restaurant was a little deeper, and both cute and friendly. Lots of booth room for either a small family, or a larger group of friends!
Next we tried the food. We ordered take out because we just wanted to get home and chill out after a long move. My boyfriend grabbed the special with rice and green beans, and I got myself the beef wrap. From the grocery section, we also decided to pick up some pickles, some chocolate hazelnut biscuits, and a apple malt beverage. All in all we paid just under 30$ for a decent meal selection with some extras.
The food is amazing. I'm a picky eater, I won't deny that. I usually order the same thing from restaurants and I don't branch out all that often. The kabob they put into my wrap was tender and juicy while light on the seasoning. The garlic sauce was the perfect amount without being too overwhelming. The veggies were the perfect amount - the only thing I would change would be as someone who enjoy pickles, I wish there were a little more. That's a personal preference though, and overall my wrap was a lovely experience and very filling! My boyfriend's dish was also delicious, it was a perfect mix of slightly sour, salty, and nutty. We also did dip into our groceries, and we were so excited. Everything from Windsor Kabob House was a joy to eat!
Since then we have been back another time, and we expect to become regular patrons here. From the food, to the restaurant, and the service - everything was 5/5. A gem in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently dined at this halal Persian restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a fantastic meal. The star of the show, undoubtedly, was their kabab. I can confidently say that it's the best kabab I've ever tasted. The succulent, perfectly grilled meat was bursting with flavor, and the blend of spices used was nothing short of exquisite.
The menu offered a wide range of options, catering to all tastes and preferences. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I also appreciated that the restaurant is halal, ensuring that everyone can savor these mouthwatering Persian flavors guilt-free.
In addition to the outstanding kabab, the side dishes and appetizers were equally impressive. From the fluffy saffron rice to the flavorful hummus, each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to delivering authentic Persian cuisine.
If you're in search of the finest kabab in town, this halal Persian restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delectable offerings. It's truly a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe recently visited Windsor Kebab House with high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.
The overall cleanliness of the restaurant could be improved. The dining area felt a bit untidy, and tables were not properly cleaned. There was unnecessary clutter in the dining area. There was also a noticeable lack of proper cutlery ā disposable utensils were provided, which didnāt quite match the dine-in setting.
As for the food, it was average in taste and presentation. While the menu offers a decent variety, the flavors were quite basic, and the prices seemed high for what was served.
It was a one person show, and the chef was polite, which we appreciated, but the overall experience left room for improvement. With some attention to cleanliness, better dining essentials, and more competitive pricing, Windsor Kebab House could become a more inviting place to return to.
We went in with high expectations but left...
