Zee's Bistro — Restaurant in Ontario

Terrible! Lady who attended to us was rude in so many ways! From the time we got there when i saw her blowing her nose and right after grabbing glasses and such to serve us to her bringing me something different than what i ordered! We were the last people to leave and she was literally dragging tables very noisily, I guess to annoy us to leave even though it was not close time. I have never given an online review on a restaurant before because I am a very easy person and tends to brush things off but I feel the need to write something because I really disliked my experience at this tiny diner that came recommended. I know I will never step foot there again because I didn't enjoy my food either! There are so many other restaurants in Chatham with better food...

I had dinner here for first time with a friend as I have had lunch here couple of times and had a wonderful experience. Dinner however was disappointing . They had 1 waitress. There were 5 occupied tables so about 14 guests total. We waited like 20 minutes to be served and 1 hour 30 minutes for our entree which was just pasta of the day! When it finally came the waitress actually said we should be prepared for a 1 hour wait because it is a fine dining place not fast food! Waitress never checked on us at all , never offered any toppings for our pasta! Pasta dish had maybe 2 scallops which were sliced .It certainly was not fine. It cost $40. As much as a salmon or steak would cost. It was certainly fine dining prices without the fine dining experience...

I have previously extolled the virtues of Z's Bistro and taken many people there for lunch where we experienced good food, good service and a nice atmosphere That didn't happen today. Today, I sat through a nerve-wracking lunch with a screaming child and couldn't hear the person across the table from me. I ordered something new to me and didn't like it, which is not the norm for me in any restaurant. I told the waitress that I didn't care for the food, in a polite way, and she just shrugged her shoulders and told me that everybody else who had eaten it, liked it. Not what I expected from a place that I had enjoyed so much before today. This was really disappointing...
