This review is based on my most recent visit to Panera Bread which happens to be my first in almost three years.

We were quickly greeted as we entered which is always nice. I find the menu pretty easy to read which helps because there are a lot of options.

I have always been fond of the pick 2 which I'm glad was still present.

I always know I'm going to be selecting some kind of soup and get it in that delicious sourdough bread bowl. This visit I went with the Mexican corn chowder.

I also chose mac n cheese. My girlfriend ordered the broccoli cheddar soup in the edible bowl and a sandwich. We ordered for dine in and were given a little buzzer which would let us know when the food was served.

Maybe 10 minutes later the buzzer went off and I went to collect the food. The most interesting thing was that our food was packaged up for take away rather than for dine in which I thought was bizarre. Everything was individually wrapped and sealed up. At our booth we had to open everything and basically serve it ourselves.

My girlfriend went up to them and asked them for plates and cutlery as that is what we were used to being served on. She was informed that at this time they don't do that and will be starting that soon. Strange.

With that small issue aside everything was great. The bread is so fresh and tasty. The soups were great. The sandwich had a great flavour. Mac n cheese was perhaps the best I have had at a fast food restaurant in a very long time.

Overall a pretty solid experience with a small blemish being that we were expecting to be served on plates and given proper cutlery. Maybe...

I’m very shocked and disappointed at my service at this location as I have been here multiple times. If I could give this review negative stars, I would. The service was absolutely horrible. The worker at the drive through rushed me so much and after each item kept asking in a rude way “is that it?” There was no line behind me when ordering.

Now, there was no car in front of me when I proceeded to the window. I waited 12 minutes until the worker even opened the window. I had to park my car in the drive through. By this time, there was a line of cars behind me.

I thought for some reason the sandwiches no longer come with sides because she didn’t ask me what side I wanted when I ordered. My total was $40 DOLLARS for two sandwiches and two Mac and cheeses. This is absolutely outrageous? She didn’t even give me time to ask to double check my order to make sure she rang me up for the right stuff because this price is shocking. She just had an attitude. She gave me my order with haste all of a sudden so I parked to check my bag of food. I look in the bag and 4 pieces of stale baguettes (literal rocks) are throw in the bag with crumpled napkins which are pictured. This service was absolutely uncalled for and I will have to start making my sandwiches from home. This price and service is...

I used to love going to this place but recently, I've been leaving unhappy. First of all, they only have certain soups on certain days. They do not carry all of the soups that they show on their website. And there is no way to know which soups they have on any day, without having to call. I absolutely LOVE the baked potato soup but they only have it 3 days out of the week... I've memorized those days. On Monday, I went to order it only to be told they were out of it that day...it was only 4:30. How are you out of soup before dinner even hits? I had to drive to Whitby to get the soup. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful, except for one employee named Bonnie, and I usually get served by her due to the time I usually go in. She is very rude, pushy, and unprofessional. She gives my fiance and I sass almost every time we see her. She is just very unpleasant and I actively try to avoid being served by her, by allowing others in line to go ahead of me. She should not be working with the public. All in all, the food is very good, as well as most of the staff. I just don't understand why they only carry certain soups on certain days and have no way for you to check which soups they...

This is the 2nd time I've purchased a pecan braid and it was undercooked and the dough was raw. Two weeks ago I complained and was contacted by the Oshawa store manager. I explained how serving and selling undercooked pastry items could result in someone getting sick. I was told then he'd look into it and make sure it didnt happen again. Today I stopped in and picked up a breakfast bagel and a pecan braid and was given some BS story from the person who served me that "the recipe for the pecan braid has been changed so it's not so hard" Well, I didn't find it hard when I purchased them in the past. I'd much rather a harder COOKED pastry..then one that you can look at and tell it's not cooked. I'm not into eating soggy raw dough, and I dont think other people should be expected to eat it as well. There was NOTHING wrong with how they pecan braids were made and baked 6 months ago, this supposid "NEW" recipe should be thrown in the trash and the old one brought back. as of now, Panera lost a customer, and my next complaint is to the health department.
