During my recent visits to the store, I have noticed a significant decrease in portion sizes. Despite requesting extra portions, I was informed that it was not possible. It seems that the establishment is attempting to stretch their ingredients as far as possible, potentially resulting in the wastage of spoiled produce. My main concern revolves around the lackluster portion of chicken in my pitas. It was disappointingly minimal, barely noticeable, and did not meet my expectations. I found myself taking a few bites without even encountering any chicken, which made it an unpleasant surprise when I finally did come across some. Given my previous enjoyment of Pita Pit and the convenience of this location being right beside my workplace, it saddens me to see a decline in both portion sizes and an increase in pricing. I kindly request that you look into this matter, as maintaining consistent portion sizes and food quality are vital to ensuring customer satisfaction. It is my hope that these issues can be addressed promptly to enhance the overall dining experience at our local Pita Pit establishment.

Was craving for shawarma but instead got a poor quality super expensive copy of a vegetable Subway sandwich. For $16.26 for a regular chicken shawarma, I got loads of vegetables identical to Subway like olives, red onions, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, feta cheese, etc and very minuscule amount of chicken; more like a salad wrap than a shawarma. It was like 80% vegetables and 20% chicken and the whole thing was super small for such and expensive wrap. They also have like 15 different sauces like Subway. I would walk a few more steps and eat a footlong chicken sandwich at Subway instead for the same price and be more fulfilled. Even the chicken didn’t taste like grilled donair style but more like manufactured frozen chicken like Subway’s. Staff was great 8/10 but food was abysmal -20/10. If you want authentic middle eastern shawarma, go to Reetaj in downtown instead where you’ll get twice the size of shawarma with almost all meat for around $12.

I would like to edit my review.

Hesitantly, I did return to this location after a follow up with head office. This is the nearest location to me and I do love my pitas.

I am very pleased to say, my experience has been a total 180!

The staff is welcoming and kind, they have taken an extra step remembering certain things about my pita and they have taken the time to actually make my pita as best as they can including if they are unsure - they just ask!

Great job pita pit! I truly thank you for hearing my review and taking the necessary steps to ensure more satisfied customers!

5 star experience!!

Oshawa 575 Laval St unit 200

I feel it necessary to reach out in regards to my experience at this franchise. I come here every single day and have never been treated so poorly.

Upon arrival, the cashier greeted me with absolutely no words, while continuing to chew her own food, waiting for me to begin stating my order.

Small chicken Caesar Mushrooms, onions and hot sauce on the grill. I also asked if white or whole wheat was easier to roll and was finally greeted by my cashier “white, how would you like to pay”

Noticing the very small amount of onions and mushrooms, I asked for “just a tiny bit more please” and the worker proceeded to put a full handful of each.

After asking to have a portion of the huge amount removed - I was then laughed at the first time.

While topping my pita, several times I had to ask for more of each topping - then came the final toppers - feta, garlic plus , and the caesar dressing. Unfortunately this request was met with garlic aioli. I informed the worker this was the wrong sauce - this was the second laugh from now both cashier and worker - while dumping half of my pita into the garbage. Upon the request of make up toppings - I was very quickly dismissed with absolutely no care for my pita.

The meat, mushrooms and onions finally made it onto my pita, which then was proceeded to not be rolled and put on the grill - without knowing if I wanted it grilled. I then asked for it to be double grilled since it ended up on there - and was informed it will unroll, which was confusing seeing as it wasn’t rolled to begin with. When mentioning that my pita had not been rolled to begin with - this was the THIRD time I was laughed at while being informed “it is too full it will not roll” and I proceeded to inform the worker I noticed she did not even try to roll it. At this point I was offered to place my small pita into a larger pita , when I agreed to this- my pita was then dumped into the larger pita. Noticing half of my toppings still on the smaller pita being thrown into the garbage - i mentioned my concern about the meats being thrown away. There came the fourth laugh at me. At this point I asked for my receipt- there came the workers hesitation and offer for more meat. This was great! I notice while putting some chicken on the grill - bacon was no where to be found other than on my pita in the trash.

At this point I had had enough of this experience and took my pita home hoping to enjoy what was salvaged.

I cannot express the amount of onions that ended up on this pita, that now even the pita is not enjoyable.

This is completely unacceptable customer service. This is not a location I will ever return to.

If I could leave zero stars I would...
