An up-and-down experience with this Subway. The sandwiches were made well, everything was exactly as requested, but the first problem came with payment.
We specifically decided to go to Subway based on a deal in the app. When the employee tried to scan that, it wasn't working. So we thought maybe it needed to be done online. Spent the time entering everything into an online order, while our toasted subs got colder, only to find out it wouldn't work.
The given reason was "this offer is not available at this location". I had chosen this location in the app, and yet the offer showed in the deals section...so how does that make sense? The employee didn't really have an answer but it seemed she expected us to just deal with it and pay the normal price.
A manager came over to help and we explained it - he also had no answer. Only when we ultimately said that we'll just go ahead to order at Mr. Sub instead did he offer to honor the deal - to avoid a complete loss on the subs.
While I understand that the app is not controlled by this store, it should not have taken to that point to offer good customer service and honor the deal that is showing as available at this location. I hope this manager will escalate the problem to their district manager or corporate, so they can avoid similar conflicts in the future. I appreciate that the deal was ultimately honored (and that's the reason this isn't a 1 star review), but it was frustrating that we had to threaten to abandon the subs and go elsewhere for that to happen.
The other issue was that both our drinks tasted watered down. We had two different ones - Pepsi and Iced Tea, so I don't think it was even a case of CO2 running out...they just seem to be watering the drinks down...
Read moreI’m not usually one to complain. I work in customer service so I know it can be tough but this Subway needs some help.
I don’t know who sets the prices for this store but they’re higher than most other Subways in the area and that wouldn’t bother me so much but all their employees are super stingy with quantity.
Today I bought the new chicken Cesar wrap which is suppose to come with double chicken. I barely got one scoop. At the cash register the girl noticed it wasn’t enough and told the other employee they had to add more. Instead of adding more she said, “well I already made it”. When I asked if it had been made correctly they both lied and said that it had been.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this location. The staff always appear to be depressed and they’re unfriendly. They don’t make the sandwiches right and clearly don’t know the correct recipes.
Anyways, hopefully the store owner sees...
Read moreits ok, but they play the music too loud, and they always claim thrleir "machine" is broken so they can't s3ll you specialty subs - like the meatball sub for example, and this is longterm consitent behavior. it's like when you ask for a choc shake at burger kind and the machine is never working because the restaurant is too cheap to run it, and when you do get one its watery and warm for the same reason. The owners of the franchises need to have higher requirements for all these restaurants, its not just one, its practically all of them, although macdonalds seems to actually have "higher" standards the the other fast food places.. anyway, its a bad trend in these businesses to not run the reataurant according to corporations standards..and corporate apparently over looks this issue on a global basis..get it together people , this is food your...
