I had been coming to this store for months, they WERE fantastic and I mistakenly thought that they cared for their customers UNTIL Sept. 2/24 when I made my standard mobile order. Which is a large vanilla cold brew with espresso foam. Normally the app will say if that store is out. However time to time, when I get to the drive thru they will KINDLY inform me that they are out of what I ordered, followed by a few options, refund, another drink etc, not today!! The woman was so incredibly rude, I was taken a back. Keep in my I've worked in customer service for 33 years, and still am. So I try to be understanding. When I got to the window, the female seemed like she wanted to fight. I said I would just like a refund, like I have gotten from this particular store twice and loads of other times all over!! Her words exactly, "Too bad, we cannot refund", I tried to say that indeed I have gotten refunds from this store. "Do the refund on the app, and closed the window" I was stunned beyond belief!! I finally figured out how to try and get a refund, sadly it's Friday and I haven't got my money back yet, however head office has emailed me their policy, and the store is to DO THE REFUND IMMEDIATELY!! I already knew this because I have gotten refunds before. Usually I am very forgiving to retail workers because I am one, how can I be when I was not rude or demanding, I didn't think asking for a refund was a big ask. We had only been seated for a few minutes when a young lady staff member said they were closing the restaurant. My friend jokingly offered to lock up after we finished our tea! The young lady said 'what I want is for you to take your things and get out'. We asked to speak to a manager. At this point a young man who was cleaning the floor started talking over my friend who was calmly asking for a manager. My friend ignored the young man and continued to ask the young lady for a manager at which point the floor cleaner said he was calling the police. My friend and I are both seniors and at no point did we raise our voices or get confrontational with the staff. The young man who was cleaning the floor was the only agitated person in the restaurant. We left the restaurant not having had the opportunity to speak with a manager. There is usually a woman working, I believe her name is Sherry. My issue is that sheās a very unapproachable. She always looks angry and has terrible customer service. On this specific occasion I entered the store and ordered an iced coffee that I have a certain way that I like to have it made and as I am ordering and explaining my order, she asked me what else quite rude and as I tried to explain, she looked at me and then looked away not listening to what I was trying to say.
