Battle City Tactical Laser Tag (Indoor) — Attraction in Oshawa

The short story: Battle City Laser Tag is fantastic! Our son's 12th birthday party was a huge success! The kids had a wonderful time and wanted to keep playing! They said they prefer Battle City to any other Laser Tag they have played! 10/10 you should absolutely host your event here!

The long story: We had booked our son's birthday party at another venue weeks ago. The Friday morning before the Saturday party I received an email that all parties for that weekend were being cancelled (though it seems that venue could have given me much more notice). I had less than 24 hours to plan an entirely new party for my son and our guests.

I called Battle City Laser Tag and Justin answered the phone quickly. He reassured me that he was going to handle everything and make sure my son had a wonderful birthday. While on the phone with me he sent over all the paperwork we needed, new invitations to forward to our guests and confirmed all details to keep the same timeline we had for the previous venue. He made all the arrangements for lunch and kept in touch with me throughout the day reassuring me he would provide everything we would need to host the party despite his having other bookings already for the weekend.

When we arrived, everything was set up and ready to go. The kids were so excited just listening to the presentation about how cool the equipment is and how they would play different styles of games. They were thrilled after the first game and already said they preferred this style of laser tag to anything else they have played. They loved the team game for their second round. Lunch went off without a hitch - Justin had everything ready with perfect timing. When one of our guests accidentally went to the first venue and was therefore late and missed the games, Justin worked it out that we could add a third game so he could play.

Justin and Noah hosted us with enthusiasm and a genuine care that our son and our guests have a truly wonderful time. While I wish we hadn't had the stress of a last-minute booking, I believe it was a blessing in disguise as the kids had such a great time playing an outdoor laser tag game much like the video games they play at home. While the kids were having cake they were trying to figure out whose birthday would be next and make sure their party would be at Battle City as well!

I had my son's 10th birthday party at the new indoor location on Celina St. They are still getting things set up to how they want it, but what they already have is pretty awesome! My son and his friends had a blast and said it was way better than any other laser tag place they've been to! I was speaking with the owner and he was explaining all the things he going to be setting up and what his vision is, and I can't wait to see it all unfold over the next month or so. The prices here are pretty reasonable and the fact that it's a small, local business makes me want to support even more. Their Clarington location is set to open in the spring of 2025 and I'm hoping to book before the weather gets too cold in the fall, so my son can experience the outdoor battle! We have celebrated numerous birthday parties for my boys with Justin at Battle City in the past - so when it was time to pick a location for my youngest's rep volleyball teams year end party (under 16)- we didn’t hesitate! Justin is very responsive and easy to work with and he is great with the kids!

This time we got to play at his new location and it's perfect! Even better - the headbands are no longer needed so it is just you and the gun! The technology is not like normal laser tag - the guns are very impressive - everyone had a blast (kids and parents included)! We played three games when it was still light out and one in the dark and they were all fantastic - I would highly recommend this for any type of party or function - not only is it super fun - it’s a good workout as well!
