I had the shawarma poutine, which is a poutine but with the shawarma meat on top. I got the smaller size but there was plenty of fries in it, lots of cheese, lots of gravy, and the meat was delicious! Easily the best poutine I have had in a long time, and I order poutine regularly. Glad I didn't get the larger size, as I wouldn't have been able to finish it (and reheated poutine just isn't as good) The building/location itself is kinda small and tucked away, it seemed to be a fairly low traffic place which was good, but I had gone at night which may have affected this. There is not much seating inside, only a couple tables and about a half dozen seats. It wasn't a problem while I was there, but there wouldn't be space for a very large group to gather. There is a Bitcoin ATM inside, which is fantastic! I didn't use it, but it's nice to see them around, and it being there was part of the reason I had went (if only just to see it). I did not ask if they accepted Bitcoin as payment for the food The staff was really nice. There were a couple guys who were helping with my order and chatting with me, asking about my travels to Ottawa, telling me about events that were going on around the city, and it was just generally a laid back spot to eat I recommend stopping by for some shawarma if you are nearby, it's the...
Read moreI wish I could have given no stars at all. Absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. I was charged TWENTY DOLLARS for a large chicken shawarma with no sides🙄 The staff charged a different price for the same order every time I visited, and, when I asked for clarification, had the audacity to ask me why I come back if I'm not satisfied. Well I definitely won't be coming back again, that is for certain😂
The funniest part about these business owners is the way they respond to customer complaints or even to the reviews you see here. Anytime there is negative feedback, it's always, "Maybe you can find something better to do with your day than to accuse us of misusing the halal trademark/of serving bad food/of having no adherence to health standards". Perhaps a better use of the owners' time would be to open themselves to hearing the feedback their clients are offering instead of being so defensive??🤣Hilarious. I mean, they're just digging their own graves.
There are literally just two reasons why they do well: 1. location and 2. open late. Drunk people will eat anything.
EDIT: no covid protocol whatsoever. They never even wore gloves on the regular to make the food after handling the money, but right now this is...
Read moreThree brothers is a great chain. HOWEVER, this location should be avoided. I ordered two shawarma poutines, which are usually very very good. But at this location, there are issues with the food.
First of all, it's not hard to know when fries are cooked. It's really not hard. But apparently, it was for this location. The fries in the poutine were still HARD. Nasty. Why would anyone in their right mind serve undercooked fries. More of, several of my fries were black. Not like black, like they've been kept in the fryer too long, no, they were rotten black. Nasty again. Jeez guys, come on. The chicken on the shawarma poutine, was meh. Pretty bland, not seasoned very well. Gravy was good, I mean it's hard to mess that up...
Customers need to wear masks, but not employees? What gives, dont wanna catch to ol' ronna from the bros, ya kno.
The restaurant was very clean, nice. Good job. But come on guys, fries... not hard.
I would give 0/5, but it's not an option. So I gave 1/5.
P.s. I hope I...
