This is basically a punk rock bar. It's quite laid back and the music isn't cranked up too loud. It's a great place to sit and talk. No one cares what you look like. This is not a trendy location. Don't ask them to put on any music other than punk or metal. However, the regulars are a good bunch and I've never once seen a fight there. The washrooms are down a steep set of stairs, so it's not wheelchair friendly. You can get quarts of beer, including Labatt 50, at very good prices. They have Corona there, for the gluten-free beer drinker. They have a nice patio that's typically well kept in the summer months. The atmosphere is not exactly a high priority. Again, punk bar. Don't be shocked. There are two perfectly good pool tables. This place might not appear to have a kitchen but they get their food from another nearby establishment. The food is quite good. The entrance to the Dominion can be easy to miss. It's right between the Lookout and Barefax strip club. Keep in mind that paid city street parking is also in effect...

I left after my beer. This bar is really meant for a handful of super regulars.
It sucks because when I went in I was like yay this is like when I used to hang out on crescent street in Montreal.
Anyway it was weird. The guy has a red heavy metal tattoo below his right ear.
I sound intense but it was...
