I have never felt so disrespected in my life due to what feels like just my age being the factor, I’ve been here a total of 2 times in my life and both times i’ve been treated poorly because of my age. I don’t understand what they have against younger people. Clearly i’m mature enough to write a google review so here we go! I was on a date and we started with just one drink for her. We closed the tab and left the guy a tip, “this guy is a reoccurring problem in this story heads up. To give some backstory of how this guy acts we could place him as a person so immature that he made me look like I was older then him, he’s that type of person that will talk to you in that “irritating soothing voice” when your literally just trying to get the fries you’ve been waiting 30 minutes for. So after we ordered that drink I jokingly told him that I love to eat and was wondering what the most filling thing on the menu was. I asked him some questions of how big the portions were and he already seemed kinda annoyed. I ended up choosing (1 fry). This fry never came and after 30 minutes we went up and asked this purple hair girl how long it usually takes and she said like 5 minutes minimum unless we are backed up. She then connects the dots and realizes that this guy never even placed the order for us. I understand that people can make mistakes but this was off, he had some kinda smirk on his face and looked like he couldn’t care less. It was almost as he didn’t put it through on purpose. We then get the order through which he punches in with chicken fingers for some reason. “Don’t worry guys those chicken fingers never came”. We then say “so its punched in this time?” He replied in his little voice that I explained earlier. “ as you can see it shows it right here” What he showed on the screen was 1 chicken fingers with a fry on the side. We leave and go back to our table and wait a bit and the food finally comes. He brought 3 baskets of fries and I said thank you and assumed he was trying to do good by bringing extra fries on the house. “He did not by the way”. Fast forward we are leaving now and we leave the table clean everything is nicely taken care of and it’s time to pay. I say to him thank you and “was the 3 baskets a large fry or something?” and he says “no you ordered 3 fries and chicken fingers” I say “ I most definitely did not receive chicken fingers and I only ever asked for one fry.” He was accusing me of lying for not receiving the chicken fingers even though I was saying I swear nobody brought chicken fingers. He eventually brushed it off after going back and forth. After I said I only ordered 1 fry he said “well did you eat the other ones” I said “yeah?” he says “so your going to have to pay for it then.” I said “Well I ordered one so that’s not very fair and I feel like your trying to take advantage of me due to my age and thought those were compensation for the mess up earlier.” he says “ well so she going to pay for them then?” I said “no” After his intense baby talking to me he eventually voids the transaction and rips the receipt out and says “don’t worry about it, you have a membership here right Hayden? I’ll remember you”. I feel like my message doesn’t do enough justice for this, but yeah so basically I guess I can’t go back which sucks because I really like playing pool and I think this is probably the first person in my life that has had a problem with me so that’s great! Edit: Been a member here for 4 years and unfortunately the service has gone down hill. Tonight I went to checkout and the guy closed the table right away and wouldn’t let be redeem my free hours. It was “my fault I should have told them when I got the table and nothing could be done”. I pushed back and the guy at the front was very rude, horrible customer and attitude. Ultimately when I complained I and got the manager he redeemed them but still stood by it was my fault. This has never been an issue in the past in the 4 years I have been coming.
On top of this the server forgot our drinks twice, punched them in yet we didn’t get them till we told her multiple times. I had to go up to the bar twice to request drinks.
After all this I didn’t tip the server due to terrible customer service and she was visibly upset and cold with us.
It’s unfortunate that loyal customers of 4 years were treated this poorly and especially when your bar tab is close to $160 that your treated like this over your free pool membership. We have introduced many friends to this spot but unfortunately this may be our last visit.
Be cautious with this place, make sure you get the drink you payed for and they don’t rip you off from the membership...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I arrived around 6:00pm tonight and walked upstairs to the bar area. I greeted the bartender and asked her where we could sit down. She seemed put off and said coldly “just sit anywhere.” We sat at one of the cool lit up tables right in front of the bar. We waited 15 minutes before waving down a server who came up the stairs with her tray to pick up drinks at the bar. We asked if she could serve us. She said this is the bartender’s section and they’re supposed to take your order. I said I already connected with the bartender as soon as we arrived and she was cold and stood behind the bar for the last 15 minutes without coming to our table. The server said we were welcome downstairs into her section which we happily went. I have never encountered such a cold person who works in customer service in my 58 years of being alive. I wanted to confront her but my boyfriend said not to. We were also told this server treats people like this all of the time and has had many complaints over the years. Her hair is dyed red in case anyone who reads this (the owner hopefully!) wants to know the kind of employee they’re allowing to work at their establishment.
