What a disappointment. I'd never been before. So my husband and I decided to go as a family. Here's how it went.

Let's start with the positive, they have great fries. No doubt there. Problem is, great fries don't account for an over 80$ bill and the following...

50% off appetizers on Saturday night, great start! So we got the deep fried pickles, they were great, and there's a lot. So much that you need 2 ranch dips, unfortunately, it comes with one. And that one spilt in the basket for us. We tried to flag some staff, no one in sight. So our last 3 or 4 were eaten cold, with no dip.

My husband ordered the fish and chip, portion was great, but the batter was very bland on the fish, not much flavour there. The coleslaw, he said, was too spicy for having been made too long ago.

We got chicken fingers and fries for the kids. Again, the batter on the chicken, not much to write home about. But the kids liked it. Unfortunately, kids meal don't come with a drink. So we had to pay an extra 4$, 2$ for each glass of milk for my 2 kids.

I ordered the steak et frites. I like my steak medium rare. This was medium. Almost medium well done, except for a small spot of pale pink in the thickest middle part. Again, I would have loved to tell my waitress, but for one problem, no one in sight... Now, it does comes with veggies, that was great. Huge portion. Zucchini, peppers and onions.

All in all, disappointed. Not going to be...

I was just trying to get home I needed to know when a bus was coming in that location I asked the waiter for wifi password waiter said the password but to fast for me to get and walked off another waiter clearly heard me ask for the password some other customers were coming in I moved aside for other customers but never was getting the password this other waiter that knew I needed the password came to me like pretend that she never heard trying to get the password from the first waiter that walked off then asked me is there anything like “what’s sup?” I said the password isn’t working do you know the password for your wifi network she then said wifi is for paying customers your gonna basically need to buy something I looked around left and right and most people seating are white I didn’t see one black individual I would hate think that there racist but like was that ?? I was dressed like anyone else I was holding skateboard maybe that made me look poor or something I’m just so confused why are we such cruel people to each ? Not so good. I have food allergies. The manager came to our table and told me that there would be no guarantees that my food would be allergen free but that the kitchen will be wiped down to prevent any possible cross contamination. Honestly, that usually works for me. As long as I'm not eating the allergen in any way, I'm fine. For example, the food I'm allergic to can co-exist in the same establishment, can have been cooked on the same pan, but the pan needs to be cleaned before I use it.

I made sure to order a sandwich - nothing deep fried. It was a basic Quesadilla dish that in no way would have come in contact with something I'm allergic to. However, moments after beginning to eat my food I began exhibiting signs of a reaction. It's clear that the kitchen was not wiped down and that there was cross contamination.

Honestly, I understand the risks, but it's clear to me that the kitchen was not cleaned properly, because if it had I would not be exhibiting these signs. Unfortunately, this was my first and last time here. I Would...
