Hing Lung Chinese Food take out — Restaurant in Ottawa

I ordered two combos F and honestly I just spent 35$ with delivery and tip for very bad chinese food. The sweet and sour sauce for chicken tastes like diluted ketchup, the fried rice is not even fried, it's just regular rice and soy sauce. To be fair, the eggrolls and eggroll sauce are good. I called them to ask if I could get my money back as their food is just bad (I put it in other words of course) and the lady said that I should've picked something I like and that they can't give me my money back, as they are a business, which is fair yeah. I would like to add that she was very respectful, even to someone complaining about the bad quality of food. So overall I am now hungry and out 35$ for terrible, terrible food. This is the best Chinese food in Ottawa hands down. I don’t like cooking and so I have become an avid loyal supporter of this restaurant. They know me well and my address. I Always tip the drivers well cause they come out and about and are always wearing masks and protective of our community. I personally love the girl I speak with on the phone. She is so polite and kind. She sent me free spring rolls because I gave her and the restaurant a big props. To the cooks in the kitchen “my hats off to all of you” people forget to give thanks and props to the people who actually make the food. Lastly, you guys were closed for a few weeks for vacation and I dearly missed my favourite Chinese restaurant!! Tried to make an online order but the site said they were too busy and “would probably forget the order”. Those were the exact words on the website. I then received a text message telling me that the order failed to be sent and if I’d like to order then call the restaurant. I ended up ordering somewhere else. About an hour later I received a phone call from Hing Lung berating me on the phone for not calling and canceling the order if I had ordered from somewhere else! He was incredibly rude and when I explained what THEIR SITE said, he told me I should have been more careful and I shouldn’t have trusted the website. Um, excuse me? It’s the company website!
