Presotea — Restaurant in Ottawa

Don’t get me wrong the drinks are good and averaged priced for boba and I used to love coming here every time I visited bayshore. I am also not one to bother leaving harsh reviews as I tend to focus on the brighter side of things, but one of the staff members a younger girl with curly long black hair that I spoke to was sooo rude… I asked if they have a milk tea with just black tapioca pearls as they did not have a plain option on their virtual menu just drinks that had other flavours mixed in like jelly or fruit flavoured tapioca, etc. The employee suggested I order the panda milk tea and she could just not add the white tapioca so that it’s just the black tapioca pearls. I was thankful to her for solving it. I said sure and thanked her then it occurred to me that instead of removing the white tapioca pearls entirely I should just swap it for “extra” black tapioca pearls so I asked if she could just put extra tapioca pearls in replacement of what was being removed she got annoyed looking and said she “isn’t trying to rip me off of course she is replacing it”… I was not thinking that she wanted to rip me off whatsoever and was shocked by her tone I was just imagining an ingredient being taken out and thinking I love tapioca pearls so it’s better to replace then remove entirely. As someone who loves boba but is not completely familiar with all the options and flavours I would think that asking a few quick questions to a professional aka the employee would make sense… guess not. Anyways would not recommend this location, management may want to consider reminding some specific staff on customers...

The little dude texted the whole time while there was 5 drinks waiting to be made. He didnt start making the drinks up until there was 7 waiting and the girl who was at the cash punching in the orders started making the drinks. Then he started doing something, just to go back on his phone texting. Then he takes one order at Cash and still has not made one drink. Do better i spent 25 minutes here. Then they served everyone's drink that ordered after me. And the girl took a sip out of a stainless steel cup that they used to measure the drinks which was a leftover from a previous drink. I'm sure they are deing cleaned but i now know that someone's lips has been on it and it is disgusting. My fries got cold while waiting for this. Then a lot of people are waiting to order and they're not making drink. So i go up to the counter and i ask for my order and then they finally start making it. I ordered at 1:32. On...

I'm not picky when it comes to service but this place is horrible. The guy that took my order was so rude Him- just stares at me Me: hi, how are you? Him- order please

I would have let that go if it wasn't for the next part. I'm drinking my boba tea when at some point the boba wouldn't go up the straw anymore. I thought maybe the straw was broken and lost succion power so I took it out only to my horror, have a long black hair with 5 boba stuck to it come out of the drink and straw.

Absolutely disgusting. I'm a red hair so no way this is mine.
