Subway — Restaurant in Ottawa

Went into the location as the staff was preparing a large Uber eats order. Everything seemed normal until the order was randomly cancelled. The staff looked frustrated which was understandable. But what they did next was pretty shocking. They proceeded to deconstruct the sandwiches and RETURN the toppings into their respective places as if they hadn’t been in contact with meat and even mayo. They even put the bread back into the original tray which seemed absurd. Anyways, we took our subs and went home and maybe it’s a placebo but they were pretty bland, stale and made us feel ill. Came in on August 10 at 1:45, and had the worst service I have ever experienced. The young lady was in an awful mood, and was rolling her eyes every time I asked for a topping. She gave me 2 pieces of lettuce, and when I asked for more, she gave me one more piece and said “what else” in a snappy tone. I tried to get my sandwich panini pressed at the end, and she did it while the sandwich was fully wrapped up, I asked to get it pressed a second time because I like a good crunch, and she stared at me for 5 seconds, before throwing my sub in and pressing it for 4 more seconds, then threw it on the counter without saying a word. I seem to be becoming a regular on Mondays! The staff here are always so kind and friendly. I have had exceptional experiences each time I go and they are always constantly working on something. Whether they are making a sandwich for customer, mopping the floors, or cleaning equipment, every time I go in they are doing something and not just standing around like I have seen in other fast food companies. They’re very hard working here. I will continue to support this Subway and hopefully learn the staff’s names so I can edit this and name them!
