Teriyaki Experience — Restaurant in Ottawa

Bitterly disappointed, I was starving looking for a somewhat healthier option to have for lunch. Stop in at this place thinking it would be delicious, Thai Express always is, as is Kung Fu Bistro in Stittsville, I place my order, as does the gentleman behind me, naturally they would have started my dish before this other man, yet somehow even though the gentleman's bowl was just placed on the rack with the others behind mine, the cook decided to put it on mine, normally I wouldn't care except I ordered brown rice and this man had white, they didn't deign to fix my order, and almost messed it up (asked for extra shrimp) again, the cook seemingly not impressed casually throws some more shrimp on the grill, they put a sauce I didn't ask for nor was I aware that they were adding one, no big deal I assumed it would taste fine. Positively ravenous I make it back to my work and sit down to some disappointment, as I type my stomach growls hungrily, not only could I not finish eating my meal due to the strange yet oddly bland tasting sauce, my shrimp was COLD, I was unpleasantly surprised to bite into a shrimp that felt as though it had just come out of the fridge. I try to shrug it off some more but discover that there are at least 5 more pieces equally as COLD, and they don't look as though they are fully cooked, needless to say I threw that swill in the trash, where it belongs. Also never ask to make your own meal it basically consists of 4 pieces of shrimp (8 if you ask for extra in my experience at least) and rice, I had maybe 2 flourettes of broccoli a small handful of bean sprouts, maybe traces of some green pepper and carrot (I think that's what those tiny orange flecks are) 1 piece of celery, and the rest was rice, barely flipping passable I am personally livid right now (add another point to the list of things frustrating me today), that being said I would feel a whole lot better if whomever is responsible for that lousy piece of work they call a fast food outlet, if they would remove the manager and staff and replace it with more competent personnel. Due to Google's lack of realism I cannot give this "establishment" a 0 star rating, I urgently urge people to boycott this particular location as a direct result, it would also appear that I am not alone in my dissatisfaction and am disappointed that in the face of such critical criticism that nothing has been...

I ordered a salmon sushi bowl expecting a regular poke bowl, fresh fish, fresh veg and good rice. The rice was over cooked, the avocado was brown and the salmon was definitely not fresh. It had a weird consistency to it and tasted so fishy and off that I didn't feel comfortable continuing eating my meal. I went up to the cash and explained the situation and was met with "everything we use is fresh, if you have any complaints call head office". Nothing to try to remedy this situation, just to call their head office and that nothing is their fault. I told them the salmon was not fresh to which I was told that they use "different materials". The man running the counter added two chicken ramen when I order two beef. Increased both chicken bowls by $1 instead of changing it charging me extra for no reason. The proceeds to add a full other meal hoping that I didn’t notice the change in price. I paid for the meal, but my friend told me it didn’t match up so I ask for a recipe and there it was the look in his eyes when I noticed. A full extra $13 meal had been added to my total.
