This is one of the only places open after I finish work. Tonight my partner and I went together and ordered a strawberry daiquiri each. I am Asian and extremely susceptible to Asian glow (I get red even after one ounce of anything). The strawberry daiquiris were meant to have 2 oz. I finished mine pretty fast and felt no difference at all, and had no visual indication that alcohol was consumed. We paid $80 (before tip) for our meals and drinks, and I only realized after the fact. The cocktails were $15 each!! :( never going back to Royal oak. My last visit before this was to a different location and when I asked to apply my student discount, I didn't know my student ID had expired a year before but I offered to show the bartender my active course schedule as proof that I'm still a student and she wouldn't let me finish my sentence and kept insisting only a valid student ID could...
Read moreI ordered through Skip The Dishes and the salad was good but the flatbread that arrived was a hard, dry, half loaf of bread with cheap cheese slopped on top of it with low quality produce. It was marketed as having spinach and artichokeS but it isn’t fresh spinach and artichokes, it is spinach artichoke dip adding to the moist mass of half melted cheddar and goat cheese. Mind you, this also had raw red onion, tomato and red peppers. I’m not sure why the bread was so dry and overdone but the cheese and vegetables were raw. Gross. I discussed swapping the item with some guy named Brad but all he said without seeing the inedible mass is “they all come like that”. Well Brad if they do your company needs to take the item off the menu because it is inedible. Thanks for poor...

Food was great but it was just an unfortunate experience. My friends and I are powerlifters. North of 300lbs each. Really we would have needed twice as much to actually get a buzz. We walked out feeling worse than we walked in but not because of how much we had to drink in the traditional sense.
I guess we just won't come back? Don't seem to want our money. We were surprised at how little people were there. But we...
