Last Monday September 11, 2023, I had the worse customer experience at Wendy's location: 3880 Innes Rd, Ottawa, ON. My friend wanted to treat me for dinner and also wanted to try the burgers at Wendy's. I usually get satisfied with their burgers but that night the food was horrible. We both decided to take the Baconburger combo. Both our burgers had burger patties that didn't taste very good...the bacon was so tough it was like rubber and the bread was soggy....Since my friend was paying he didn't want to file a complaint since it was night time and there was only 2 staff at this location. We had stopped at the Place D'Orleans location before that but it was CLOSED due to Staff Shortage and only Drive In available...I apologized to my friend i dont know how many times for this horrible experience we had. We were both really hungry and we decided to eat the burgers anyway....The total for two burgers combo were around $28 and it was a total waste of money. I've never had such an unpleasant dining experience at Wendy's before. The staff there obviously didn't care about the quality of our burgers. The fries were fine but the burgers I wouldn't even feed them to my dog. I really hope that something is done about this and the staff on hand realize that we are real people and we want real delicious food, not the garbage that was fed to us. ...I am so disappointed...and my friend and I vouch never to return to...
Read moreSo slow! Often get orders wrong and stuff missing. Listen to your customers orders! When we order a Coke… we don’t want a Diet Coke! Salads should have appropriate dressing (Apple Pecan Salad has pomegranate dressing as it indicates on the menu NOT Southwest). Cutlery would also be nice! I ordered a baked potato with sour cream and chives… no sour cream to be found! That makes for a pretty darn dry potato and hard to eat without a darn fork wouldn’t you agree??? This is not the first time and I usually don’t write reviews, but this is so unacceptable. People go to a drive through because they haven’t had the time to make one to bring to work. They can’t spend their entire lunch in line to finally get out with just a few minutes to spare only to discover the lunch they’ve paid for is wrong or missing stuff (everything is so expensive now, and our time is valuable too). Chicken nuggets with the wrong sauce or no sauce… this mistake can ruin a child’s meal because we all know how picky some are. Plus, we want what we ordered, not what you think is a suitable substitute! I hope the owner or manager reads this. Take care or your business or you’ll loose clients. Watch your employee… serve us like you’d expect to be...

There had been what I deemed to be a simple misunderstanding with my order and when I tried pointing that out to her she started shouting at me very aggressively and berated me as if she absolutely had to make it clear that the misunderstanding was entirely my fault. She then walked away without even finishing my order or handing it off to anyone else. I had to grab the attention of a different employee and ask them to complete the order, and had to repeat my issue all over again to finally get it addressed.
At no point did I accuse her of having made a mistake, I simply wanted the issue resolved and there was absolutely no need for her to behave in such an nasty manner. Also, her walking off like that and leaving my order incomplete as if she had better things to do and I was the least of her concerns was very arrogant and just plain rude!
I will gladly be taking my business somewhere else where the management are a lot more mature and have some basic...
