Sarpino's Pizzeria Parksville — Restaurant in Parksville

Today, December 18th 2021, we ordered as first time customers (we thought, lets give these guys a chance instead of our usual goto Panago, which is literally around the corner) our "deal" from the flyer for 2 pizza's included: 2 drinks, 2 toppings per pizza, 2 dipping sauces and 10 chicken wings. *The guy at the counter said he can't honour the flyer deal because the flyer prices are not the same for every Sarpino's outlet! This outlet choose not to participate in the flyer deal (which is fine), however, dont distribute your friggin' flyer at all!!! Note: I guess I should have read the fine print, and call Sarpino's to make sure if they honour the flyer prices. So, I am willing to chalk this up as my bad... *At the counter, I asked if I could have 1 topping on one pizza and 3 toppings on the other. The front guy said he could not do this and would have to charge for the extra 1 topping on the pizza). *At home we counted 8 pieces of chicken wings instead of 10...

All in all a very disappointing first time customer experience. If you value flawless execution of your order by experienced counter people, a quick turn around of your order and a nice customers-are-first experience with the same pizza quality, dont waste your time on Sarpino's and stick...

!!!!!Watch your bill people!!!!! Be aware that they will try to double dip on tips on an online order for pickup. They add 15% on your order that you agree to but can change if you actually notice it but most would not. If you order online and click confirm then you pay the total with the tip, then at the store when you use a card they ask for another tip. Some and probably most don’t realize that they are tipping twice! Shady business practices. Pizza is ok, nothing to write a review about. UPDATE: I received a call from the Parksville Sarpino Pizza and apparently they are ok with the way they “MAY” get 2 tips from you and “MOST” of there customers catch the first tip before coming in to pick up and pay for their pizzas. Well this business is not for me. Good luck in your endeavour Sarpino.

Update: they replied to the review on the review saying they would have a solution by Monday… no correspondence since! Nice business practices!

Update: no changes to Sarpinos pizza in Parksville on adding a 15% tip on the bill. Sad they have to lose customers by slipping a tip in to the order! Take notice people!!!

Have had pizza pizza a couple of times and they are pretty good for the price. Do not order from...

Update!! We now only order from Sarpinos! Hands down, the best pizza around, and you can't beat the bogo 1/2 price when you order online. The Spicy Capicola is still our favourite, but love the spicy Mexican, Tropical Hawaiian, as well as the BBQ chicken. Thank you guys! Keep up the good work!

Totally impressed with pricing, and menu options and the customer service. We ordered the Chipotle Chicken and the spicy Capicola for pick up the first time. The Capicola was amazing, lots of toppings and sauce and the fresh Garlic was a huge bonus!! We called 50 mins before for a 6:15 pick up and didn't get pizza until 6:30 ish, guess they were busy, which is good. Some feedback on the Chipotle chicken pizza is, that it didn't have hardly any sauce on it at all, couldn't taste any chipotle flavour at all, and hence found it to be dry and even though we were waiting for them both, the chicken one was luke warm by the time we got home, and yet the Capicola one was still hot and crispy! It was like we ordered from two different pizza places, they didn't come out of the oven at the same time. ( Have not experienced this again) Highly recommend going for sure, Best...
