Go Bubbletea — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

I was super excited when I discovered that Go Bubble Tea had taken over the Chatime space.The inside looks very much the same as when it was Chatime, but a few colour choices make it feel a bit warmer and less stark white. The staff were very friendly, cheerful, and helpful when asked what they recommended. We asked what milk teas they'd recommend and they said the roasted milk tea was the most popular.

We ended up getting the mango dirty milk, the Okinawa milk tea and the roasted milk tea. We chose 50% ice and 100% sugar (to get a baseline for how balanced their drinks were). All of them were excellent and well-balanced. The Okinawa milk tea had a very strong nice tea flavour, the mango dirty milk was mild and creamy, and the roasted milk tea was flavourful and roasty. I used to love Chatime's roasted milk tea, but I did find it quite sweet and would never choose 100% sugar. This roasted milk tea had the same great flavour, but even at 100% sugar it was well-balanced, which I appreciated.

The boba tasted fresh, had good flavour, and had the perfect chewiness. The cups for the milk tea were pretty cute, there's a designated hole for your straw, and a spot to sip from if you get a drink without pearls. And if you want to seal the drinking hole there's a cute little heart stopper.

They currently have a promo until November 1st, where if you show that you're following them on Instagram you get 20% off! The prices on the menu included brown sugar pearls...

I got the To Good to Go. For the value, sorry to say it’s horrible. I bought a Small surprise, it’s suppose be a a value of $15 for $4.99. All I got was one small sweetened jasmine tea no flavour no pearls or anything and one large cup of sweetened black tea with so much ice and nothing else. I saw the previous bad reviews but I thought I might just give the store a chance but hell no. Stay away from this one. Just go to the HMart next door

Update It is not ToGoodToGo’s fault. It is the responsibility of the restaurant to give good food. I have ordered ToGoodToGo for Blossom Tea and it it such a difference. They do give full value and more! The most I have received is two mango slushy, one milk tea and a cup full of only pearls!! So compared to good places, this is horrible as I said before for the ToGoodToGo’s value. Maybe your other drinks maybe ok but your initial impression...

I went in for the first time to get a hot mocha. That cost me over $5. And as it was really the only place to get a coffee or something like this in the area. I thought it might be pretty good. It was on my way to Michael's so that I could have a nice hot drink. However, the coffee mocha that I got was cold. So I took it back and all he did was to add hot water to it. Which diluted it into the thin awful tasting thing. And I should have demanded him make me a new one.They probably didn't even heat the milk at all. They used cold milk which made the drink cold. So I would not recommend this place at all. At least for the drinks, the coffee drinks. I'm not sure why there isn't a Starbucks in this mall area because there is no Starbucks around where Michael's is...
