IHOP — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

Never go back there ! Do not recommend that location to anyone ! Poor service and disrespect for server ! I was there this morning with my family at 9 AM and they were not busy at all(only 30% of the tables they’re taking). At the beginning everything was OK as the usual since I am going there for 17 years but after they ordered it took over 40 minutes and then I went to desk to complain about unexpected wedding time and see what is going on, my server instead of saying VR sorry just told me very Unappropriate that your food is coming! I was so mad and told her that I am waiting for my two years old son for over 40 minutes and nobody came to my table to let me know what’s going on! She came to my table with one plate which the food was very cold on that and instead of apologizing again told me we are short staff that’s why your food is late wish this answer made me even more angry! She was keeping their argue with me and I just asked her to leave my table and ask her supervisor to come! Her supervisor was nice and at least told us that she is sorry for what happening and she accept the mistake ! She gave us some off on the bill but I was not asking for that ! Rather to pay full buy receiving the right service! Server was so and behave and disrespectful at the end then she was bringing the machine for the payment! Never go there again and since I am local so I will let everybody in the community know about dear...

Such bad experience with this place , the people that working there they are so rude , and costumer service there is zero , three old lady with gray hair that working there they don’t what is costumer service and how they should talk with people, my phone died and they asked me for vaccine proof, but since my phone didn’t work, i showed her my health care worker card , and my id ,and i told her I’m health care worker obviously i have my vaccinations and she said no we might get in trouble and i asked them if they can give me charger to charge for couple minutes then they can see my proof of vaccinations, and we asked them can we sit and checked the menu meanwhile my phone charging they said no sorry after 10 minutes standing there one of them gave us menu and even they didn’t let us to sit on one of the closest table , meanwhile a guy was there without mask apparently he doesn’t want to wear mask but that one was ok fo them and for the people that they are sitting there , and one of the staff was talking with another one about what stupid person to coming out without charging her phone !!! And we headed it and told her why you saying that !!!!! Anyways such bad experience If you wanna treat in lowest way that you want you should visit...

Food was good but service was lacking and I witnessed an unclean practice in the kitchen. Our server was not very attentive and it took a very long time for our food to come out. We had a hard time even locating our server because she did not walk past our table often. At one point we thought she had maybe gone in break because it had been so long since we last saw her. After the food arrived she never came back to ask how the food was or if we needed any drink refills. We had to flag her down at one point to get more hot water. She did not check on us once during our whole visit. At the end of the meal we waited about ten minutes after the plates had been cleared for her to bring our bill and eventually had to keep an eye out and flag her down to ask for it because we were tired of sitting there with empty drinks. As for the unclean part, we were seated near the food service area and a server was bringing empty coffee carafes to the drink station to be filled. One of the carafe lids fell off and rolled around on the floor. The server picked it up and just put it back on the carafe. That carafe was later filled with coffee and taken to a...
