BC TACO — Restaurant in Port Moody

Honestly the worst fish taco I have ever had. I had to ask for an extra plate because my plate was full of liquid from the first super leaky taco. I really don’t understand how a taco can be so watery. It cost me $16 for 2 tacos with avocado that left me sick to my stomach. Also the guy didn’t bother to give me my change. I probably would have put it in the tip jar even though the guy was not particularly friendly, but regardless I don’t appreciate not being given the money I am owed especially after he lied about the cost to add on avocados. I guess they are just crooks just trying to make an extra buck here and there without being honest, offering good service and decent food. Honestly you would have to be drunk to give this place more than 3 stars, which is why its perfect that it is situated right outside of a bar.

Due to your reply I have chosen to edit my reply in order to add that I did in fact tell the staff about the poor quality of the food and inquired why there was so much water in it. They said they were not sure, maybe it is the sauce. I told them that it did not have much flavor, that the fish had the consistency of canned fish and the liquid was like can water. No effort was made to resolve the issue. Also if you had fully read my previous comment you would have noted that one of the staff members lied about the cost of something on the menu and also did not bother to give me my change. This is very poor etiquette. As for your sarcastic and belittling comment, I find it ignorant and out of place. Serve better food and hire better more honest staff! My friends also complained to me about their burritos, so it is not just the fish tacos, if that was even fish...

Ok the lady working there was nice…… that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The worst and most expensive Burrito I have ever ordered. Bland, flavourless, and severely lacking in any substantial ingredients. If you want a flour tortilla full of steamed rice with no spices or sauce then maybe this is your place. If you want a legit delicious Mexican meal DO NOT COME HERE! I have been to Mexico, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, California, Nevada and I have eaten a lifetime of Mexican food in many different styles. This place wouldn’t stay in business for 5 minutes in any of those places. In fact, Taco Time has better Mexican food, WAY BETTER, at half the price. More authentic too. And for $15 per entre it would be nice to get some kind of side too. $47 for two burritos and two drinks… very poor value for the money. Like many other people have said. A bit of lime, some salt, maybe some more sauce and maybe some bottles of hot sauce to put on the bland food. Zero stars and thumbs down...

Just got tacos from this place. I ordered fish they gave me pork! I can’t eat pork! This is ridiculous!

I appreciate you responding to this review. I got taco, burrito and a drink i was with my gf holding a pizza box if you remember... We did get 2 tacos with cabbage. i barely heard my name when my order was ready (my english name is Ryan) and i just heard the taco and burrito didn’t hear you guys specifying which type of taco. As for whether it was pork or fish, aside from the big difference in taste which anyone can tell, the whole meat was brown ground pork looking and not white or pink which you’d expect if it was fish. Also both me and my gf agree it is pork. What are the chances of two people being wrong?
